Reverend John K. Dawson is a native of Mississippi. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, he worked with Reformed University Fellowship at Georgia Southern University for a couple of years before attending Covenant Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity. He also attended La Faculté Libre de Théologie Réformée (now La Faculté Jean Calvin) in Aix-en-Provence, France for a year.
He served as assistant pastor for ten years at Brandon Presbyterian Church before being called as senior pastor in February of 2014. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree in December of 2014.
Rev. Dawson has been married to Rebekah since 2000 and they have two young sons.
