I agree with your message to a point Bro. Buford. I know that there are still gifts at work of The Holy Spirit of God today. We may have a different view on those things, but on the same hand we do as you say have God's word with us.To believe it's warnings and hope is a big amen from me also.I know that it is possible today for people to fall into apostasy,but to note also these were not true believers. It's like king Saul being among the prophets and prophesying,but he was not a true believer. Comparing him to king David who did have God's word in him and speaking by the Holy Ghost at times as is evident. I do believe in the works of the Spirit of God to be evident today and know they are.

Baptists are orthodox, evangelical, confessional, and have a theologically integrated ecclesiology. They believe in a regenerate church membership, in believer's baptism, church discipline and separation of church from state.

The message starts with a short presentation of the history of Dutch Reformed church, as a background of Kuyper's work. His life and work are a great example of the fact that God can use us, His children, to reform His Church and to be light and salt in the world.
