- ThankfullSobering one!This was usefull to hear. We far to seldom hear that we should not only consider laying of the things of the world, but really do it. I'm in a process of getting more and more found of money and things, and have come to notice this lately(thanks God for revealing it!), and it is good to hear someone not blessing and excusing this, but anouncing what the bible tells us about wanting these empty things.

- Susan BeisnerThe AnswerI'm struggling with big questions lately about vocation, feeling dissatisfied and useless in my sinful and weak attempts. I think I've just found my answer--staring at me in what I could almost call my "life verse" ;). Our ambitions, like Paul's, when sanctified, all become simplified: subsumed under our single ambition to know Christ. Thank you, Dr. Ferguson, what a timely message for me!
