Jamie was the Associate Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia from 2005 to 2012. He has been a missionary in Zambia, Africa from 2012 to the present. He serves as one of the elders of Kitwe Church and has recently been sent out to lead a Church Plant to the nearby town of Chingola, Zambia. He is also the Chairman and primary lecturer for the mission department at Central Africa Baptist University.
