Timothy Fan
386 Sermons
When grace abounds to the chief of sinners, Christians learn to boast in the cross of Jesus Christ. Awed by the grace of God and the majesty of the cross, Timothy Fan serves, pastorally, to remind Christ's people that they are God's image bearers, His craftsmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, and thus very precious to Him.
Raised in a Southern Baptist church in Denver, Colorado, Timothy studied chemistry in college and completed his seminary training in biblical studies. He currently reads a lot in the field of historical theology. He has served as a senior and teaching pastor in churches in Utah, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. Savoring the Holy Scriptures, he treasures family life and homeschooling with his beloved wife and children.
Timothy's historic-Christian "mentors" include John Chrysostom, Balthasar Hubmaier, William Tyndale, John Knox, Richard Baxter, John Bunyan, and William Wilberforce. From Tyndale he has learned that "we be called unto a Kingdom that must be won with suffering only, as a sick man winneth health.…Who ought not rather to choose and desire to be blessed with Christ in a little tribulation, than to be cursed perpetually with the world for a little pleasure?”
Soli Deo Gloria. Glory to God, alone.
