Pastor Michael began his ministry at Calvary in December of 2022. He and his wife Madi both grew up in Iowa, and have been married since 2018.

Prior to coming to Ypsilanti, Michael completed a 12-month internship at lowa Regular Baptist Camp (2018-19) as well as a 14-month pastoral internship at Ankeny Baptist Church (2021-22).

He holds an A.A. in Business Administration from lowa Western Community College as well as a B.S. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Exposition from Faith Baptist Bible College.

He enjoys riding his bike, running, reading, the outdoors, hospitality, and all things family.
