Pastor Dan Bartel grew up in Meade, Kansas and received a call to the ministry in 1974 while serving in the Philippines with World Vision International.  He received a BA from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS (a Mennonite Brethren College) in 1976 and in 1982 received his M.Div. degree at the Columbia International University in Columbia, SC.  In 1998, he received his D.Min. degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO (Presbyterian Church in America Seminary).  In 2003, he began ministering in Reformed Presbyterian Churches of North America Congregations.
