Rev. Peter McIntyre

After being challenged about Christian Service at an Easter Saturday Missionary Meeting in 1987 the Lord called Peter into the Gospel Ministry through the words of Jeremiah 1:7, “Say not I am a child for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.” During his time studying at the Whitefield College of the Bible Peter served as Assistant Minister in Magheraftelt, Co Londonderry. In 1992 he progressed to Donaghadee Free Presbyterian Extension where he laboured as a Licentiate until June 1995, having reached the limit of 3 years which Presbytery had fixed for Licentiate service. In 2002 Clogher Valley Free Presbyterian Church issued Peter with a call and he was ordained to the Gospel Ministry on 20th April. Peter was married to Elizabeth in Coleraine Free Presbyterian Church in 1993 and the Lord has blessed them with three children, Daniel, Rebecca and Anna, who have been raised in the Clogher Valley community. Peter counts it a “great honour to be pastoring the Clogher Valley flock praying that God would be gracious enough to grant a mighty revival.”
