AFTERNOON WORSHIP SERVICE
At 1:00 PM we will take up an applicatory sermon from Colossians 3.1-4 and Lord's day 18 of the Heidelberg Catechism. We seek the things that are above because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ascended there. It is very helpful for us to give careful consideration to His Word linking His ascension and our pursuit of the things which are above.

1. Christ, fully man, ascended above

2. We were raised with Him and now should seek to be "with Him"

3. We seek through our heart and mind, empowered by the Spirit

4. This seeking is the drive to have reality now
