Sitting at the Feet of Jesus

This is a glimpse at two disciples of Jesus, the sisters Martha and Mary.

Both are faithful and beloved disciples. Martha is a woman of action, the lady of the house, and her service has become a burden to her.

Mary is sitting at the feet of Jesus to hear his word.

2. Sitting at the feet of Jesus is to hear God's word. (Psalm 56:4)

3. Sitting at the feet of Jesus is a place of love. (John 12:1-8)

4. Sitting at the feet of Jesus is needful. (Psalm 27:4)

5. Sitting at the feet of Jesus is the good part. (James 1:17)
