Two Kingdoms, Two Loyalties

What occasioned the pursuit to kill off the Jews in Esther's day? It was the conscientious objection of Mordecai to pledge his allegiance to and place his hope in the Government, encapsulated in Haman. In this passage we are informed of a continual theme in Scripture, that there are two kingdoms and there can only be two loyalties. To whom will you pledge your loyalty?
