The power to overcome sin

We have an enemy that has lied to us and told us we can't. but the Bible gives us thrilling news. God lives on the inside of each of us making victory possible. He says for us to lay aside the sin in our lives, and He wouldn't tell us to do that if it wasn't possible for us to do that. We need a new mind set; the enemy has got our ear and during our whole life has told us can't help being that way. But we have a choice; we can decide what we want to do or who we want to serve. ‘The devil made me do it' is a lie, he can't make us do anything. He can tempt us but we need to look to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The key to overcoming sin is our belief system. Do we believe Jesus or satan? What is that sin that you need to overcome? Do you believe that the Holy Spirit will help you to overcome if you ask Him?
