chicken pens and the house and
Marilyn's in the pickup been gone for a few days down to California
for medical tests and cleaning the house up down there this
is our yard there's some more towers on the ground and a horse
trailer log splitters and more towers I'm gonna go over here
and show you some wild Mustangs real quick I got to get out here
and work on these gophers. They look like they're having
a good time out here. There's the fruit trees there. Up to White Mountain. It's snowing
on White Mountain today. Looks like some of our trees
are getting ready to go to sleep. Getting them to lose their leaves. Here's a couple of stallions
I think. I'll take a video of them. Looks like I better trim
these limbs up a little bit. There they are. sometimes they fight playfully
they don't have any mares so not fighting over mares they're
just practicing looking up to the white mountains up there
a lot of houses up this creek more
all the time See if I can cripple down there.
My hips are bothering me. Oh, there's quail. Look at our
quail. There's a whole bunch of quail. They're talking. We won't bother them then. Well,
let's look at the horses from a long way off and over there
I have a little salt block metal block some more quail over here
we have about 200 quail resonant quail here in the yard near the
yard here's my shooting range here
there's more quail over there as you can see I think I can
see them Sometimes they get down there
and get in front of my targets when I'm shooting. That doesn't
work out very well. He's hiding from me, he thinks.
In the bush over there. Do some more shooting videos
and we'll do a cooking video on the wood stove also because
I could do that all summer in my patio out there, this green
thin patio. There goes a chipmunk. They are
little problem children. They can eat your wires in your
car. Cute, but they are a little disastrous
to the health of the property. Back over here. Storage containers, I need one
more. And that'll do it, I think. I think up here's the property. Chickens are molting right now,
losing their feathers. They're singing and talking.
Missy. There's Missy. She's 18 years
old. This is Junior. He's getting close to 10 years
old, I think. And there's Kitty. The only cat
we got left. We had two others, but Blue Eyes
comes back every now and then. He's a Siamese. It's her grandson.
Yeah, Kitty. Kitty's getting close to 10 years
old now. Hey, right there's Junior. He's
almost lost all his tail feathers. And there's Freckles. She is
18 years old also. And here are some of the other
hens over there. They lay very well. We have buckets here to try to
catch rats in. Put peanut butter on there and
they spin around. When they get on there they spin
to get down in there. Got different kind of bucket
traps and snap traps and all kinds of stuff. going this side horses are still
out there they're not going anyplace and this is a spot hay spot and this is pretty boy and shy
girl there here's some of our quail out here there's a lot
of them out there they're just kind of hiding a little bit there's
also a chipmunk out there Didn't hear the quail talking.
Bunch of them over there by the log splitter. See if I can get
around there and see them. I don't know where the wild horses
are. There's a bunch of them over
there by the log splitter. If I can get him here right. That one little girl out there
just got her top knot going backwards. She was out here following me
around this morning. Something scared him. coming behind me a bunch of them there's my little girl with a
crooked top knot she was following me around this morning just looking
at me there she goes He stays here later than the
other ones. We're getting time out there eating. They're talking up a storm out
there. The California Coil and they're
saying Ohio, Ohio, Ohio. Disney with each other out there. There were so many foxes and
bobcats around here that they just about cleaned out all the quail we didn't have any for
a while. A few, one or two, and this year I've built a population
of feeding them. They're getting used to me. We have about 30 or 40 doves
flying in here all the time too. You can see the dove flying in.
There should be some up there on the pole. Yeah, there's some
up there on the highline where White Mountains are socked in
with snow up there today. Here's one gonna come up here
and look at me. She's gonna see what I'm doing. Girl, what are you doing? That's
my little girl with a funny topknot. She comes over and looks at me. Are you looking at me, hmm? Are
you looking at me? There she goes. Oh, there's a
bunch more of them over there. I think there's someone underneath
my truck. All coming in for dinner time.
Dinner time for everybody. There's a bunch of them over
there. A lot. The bushes are just full
of them over there. One with the funny top knots
over there with her family I think. This is a quail refuge. Look
at all of them going. Well, we've got quail, we've
got horses, and we've got elk on this here video. You can see we have an abundance
of wildlife up here. The bushers are just full of
them out there. or over there on that end. There must be a hundred quail
out there. The guy keeps putting chickens
on YouTube and saying they're quail.
They're not quail or chickens. I think they're bandy chickens. These are quail. They are California
quail. That one comes right up to me
and will just look at me five or six feet away from me and
then take off. There's some hawks around here
that scare them off. They've gone underneath the bushes
now. When the dove flew, they thought it was a hawk. See, the
boves are flying in now. They'll be down there eating
before long. I don't know where the horses are.
They were out there a while ago. Well, I hope you're enjoying
these videos. Well, there are quail and elk
and et cetera. Wild horses, wild mustangs. See
if I can go through the house here. And we'll look and see if there's
any quail out on this other end. Here's where I do my Hebrew morning
sometimes. Exodus 33 and verse 11. Joshua
son of Nun. see if we got anything out here
now. There's a dove sitting on the
post out there. Sometimes you'll see quail all over the top of
the pens out here. Well there's quail on top of
the container over there. There they are. There should
be some around here too. Yeah, they're right on top of
that container. One, two, three. There's a whole lot of them down
below. There's one sitting on a wood pile over there. And down
there are Tasteful Selection's potatoes farm down there. Chickens are talking, singing. Well, this is life on the creek. I like this. That's an old pumping house from
Mobile Oil Company. Before it was Mobile Oil Company,
it was called General Petroleum. There's some doves out there. There's a little shooting range
over there too. I get out there trying to shoot sometimes and
the quail are all around me. They get down in front of my
shooting range and they sit there and look at me. Like they're sitting up there
looking at me now. Looks like there are two girls
up there and one boy. Thank you for watching. Please
like and subscribe. Here we go with doves and quail
again. If you can see them two here.
There's a number of them out there. I think you can see them. Almost as many as the number
of quail and doves. These doves are Eurasian doves,
I don't think they're the wild doves like you have in different
places and basically you hunt. Doves are coming in from all
over. Quail fly but they're more like
a chicken. and a chucker a quail walks and
runs wherever he goes he will fly to get away to protect himself but otherwise
he there's my little buddy there she's got a different little
top knot on her it's almost straight up instead of going forward yeah
that's her all right She's almost tame. All the way to the fence line.
That's a big dove there. We had three doves originally
and they have multiplied and multiplied and multiplied. And
there goes Kitty looking at them. Kitty's down here. She's our
matriarch. The only one we got left now.
A little coil can run pretty fast. Our little feet just go like
mad. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Doves right here in the front. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, They're very healthy here, eating
well. That one little coil, her beak
is really short and her little top nut goes kind of backwards
almost. She's almost time. More quail
and dove coming in all the time. Out there looking for what's
left. A lot of doves over here. I'll
go over here, by the way, there's our Kalamazoo. Woodstove right
there in the dark. I'll walk out here and see what
things look like. There may be more over here toward the left. There's Kitty. Yeah, she's gonna
talk a little bit. There goes the doves. White snow on the doves up on
the mountains up there. I've scattered a little bit now
to see me out here. They'll come back if there's
any food. Watch out, kitty. Stay out. There's my good girl. We lost
our Koli. Let's see what it looks like
out here now. We still got quite a few doves out there and quail.
All over. We'll walk out the north patio
here and see what's out here. You can hear them talking. There's doves over there. And
quail bowls. There's a little girl right there. All the way out there to the
trees. All over the place. Quail all over. These live here. all the time. You can hear them talking. I hope you're enjoying this,
I am. They're coming up here to see why I'm not feeding them.
Why aren't you feeding me, huh? Why aren't you feeding me, huh? Why aren't you feeding me? Hmm? Here they come. Are you wondering why I'm not
feeding you? I did feed you. There's kitty girl. Do you think
I ought to feed you? Well, I'll do that I guess. See if I can get you some more food. Let's see what they do here.
I'm pretty sure I know they'll run away and then they'll come
back. Come on children. They want to act shy, but I think
they'll come back. There they go. They're only about 12 feet from
me. There they come again. Raining
a little bit. Talking up a storm there. They're real skittish of the
hawks. Sometimes when the doves lay in, they're running. Look at here, right here by me. Come on, babies. Come on, there's my little girl.
She's coming up looking at me now. She's got the little funny
looking top nut on her. Cover the feet up, because it's
going to rain, it looks like. Snowing in the mountains and
raining down here. Oh, there they are. It looks like we got a hatchery
of quail around here. It's 68 degrees here. Look at
the quail. He rounds this gray with them. You can see they came up
wanting me to feed them and now that they They like it a little
skittish, but not very skittish. There come the doves. Lots of
doves. Kitty, kitty, kitty. Thank you
for watching. I had quite a few wild animal
viewings here. As you can see. Please like and subscribe.
