He remembered for them His covenant

In Psalm 106 we find that though God's people are very often unfaithful and in gross sin - because of the covenant promise that the LORD has made to be God to us - He will remember His covenant for us - and save us even though we are unfaithful. And so, it is Christ's covenant faithfulness, not our faithfulness, that will take us to the promised land of heaven.
