A Life Lived by Grace

What is the relationship with mercy and merit, between faith and good works? This is topic of Lord's Day 31, concerning grace, salvation and lives that are to be devoted to love and good deeds. Our good works are the product of the Holy Spirit alive and at work in us that we might show thanks and offer praise to the Lord, be assured of our salvation and also bear witness as light bearers before the world. In short a saved person, a person alive with the Spirit will bear spiritual much over time with the Lord's help. This is the evidence of a saving, living and active faith.
