The rescue of Jonah

To rescue means to free or deliver from confinement. Here Jonah recognized that God had saved him from drowning in the sea. He found out that even in his backslidden state God still heard him. He had stopped looking to God but now he was going back like he should have to fulfill his vows. After all this Jonah went through God saw some results. Has God rescued you in an unusual way?
