Please take your Bibles and go to Psalm chapter 63 if you would please Psalm 63 We'll be also going to Psalm 42 in just a moment as well The handout sheet that you have can be set aside for a time I'd like to read these two portions of Scripture Psalm 63 beginning in verse 1 Oh God Thou art my God. Early will I seek Thee. My soul thirsteth for Thee. My flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land where no water is, to see Thy power and Thy glory, so as I have seen Thee in the sanctuary. Because Thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live. I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with morrow and fatness. And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips. Take your Bibles and go over to Psalm 42 if you would. Just a couple of verses here. As the heart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? I know having eight children, there are things that you discuss as they are maturing. As they are growing in age, we have stair steps. Our oldest is like 44. Wow. And our youngest, I believe, is 29. And so at the same time, they weren't always that age, they were younger. And you know, sometimes as parents, you're teaching things to the older ones. The younger ones are there, they're listening. But you know, they're not always comprehending. Sometimes because a parent feels like they've discussed things with one or two, they think the other's caught it as well. But they not necessarily have. Sometimes it's just gone right over their heads, right? And so there's that aspect of repetition. There's that aspect of saying the same thing over and over and over again. I don't have a new message for you tonight. I have a message that I've preached several times here from the pulpit of Pimina Valley Baptist Church. I guess that would be true after 30, almost 36 years. But at the same time it's needful because we have some of you that in the subject matter I have this evening that you have this particular aspect of the Christian life down pat. You've got it mastered. You practice it on a regular basis. At the same time, there are those who maybe have not really got that particular aspect of their life down to where it's a regular occurrence day by day in their life. For some are new converts and they're just learning Bible truth and learning what it means to be a Christian as well as how to be consistent in their Christian life. It's interesting, I also try from time to time. At one time, I tried to do it every single year. I would read through the church covenant. And when we ever have someone that wants to join the church, we always ask them to get a copy of our church covenant at the information table, and then to read it. And as they read it, if they have any questions that they would like to ask, we could meet and we could discuss those things. I don't know about you, but I've been in Baptist churches since I was about seven years of age. And in the Baptist churches that I've been a part of, all of them have had this particular covenant. And in regards to the covenant, I would have to say that even though I had seen the covenant, when I was younger, I never read the covenant. And it's interesting, I wonder if I were to take a poll tonight, I would say, how many of you have read the church covenant? Don't raise your hands. It might be discouraging, or it might be encouraging. At the same time, when we talk about a covenant, according to Webster's 1828, it says, this is a formal agreement between members of a church that they will walk together according to the precepts of the gospel in brotherly affection. I want to read, I'm just going to take one particular phrase from this for the message tonight, but I'm going to read this one page document that we have. And what this is, is this is the church covenant, the statement of faith and the constitution for the church. It says these words in the covenant. As a bond of unity among this church accepts for its members the following covenant, having been led by the Holy Spirit to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and on profession of our faith in Him, Having been baptized by immersion in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. We promise that we will watch over and counsel one another in the spirit of brotherly love, that we will remember one another in our prayers, and that we will aid each other in sickness and distress. We further agree, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort. to promote its prosperity and spirituality, to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines, to give it a sacred preeminence over all institutions of human origin, and to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations. I don't know about you, but in some cases, we would already be under conviction of the Holy Spirit, how we actually live out our Christian faith. We further, this is another paragraph, we further covenant to maintain family and secret devotions, to religiously educate our children, to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances, to live carefully in this present world. to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our deportment, to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger, to abstain from everything that will cause our brother to stumble, or that will bring reproach upon the cause of Christ, and to strive to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, that amidst evil and good report, we will humbly and earnestly seek to live to the honor and glory of Him who loved us and gave Himself for us. We moreover engage that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word. That's quite a covenant. That's quite an agreement. Whether you read that, whether you've ever read it or not as a member of the Penman Valley Baptist Church, that's what we have covenanted together. It's a pretty serious document. It also gives us a point of reference and for goals to seek, and the phrase I'm gonna pull out was really from the third paragraph, and it's this particular phrase. We further covenant to maintain family and secret devotions. I'm gonna tackle the aspect of family devotions in another message, but I do wanna talk about personal devotions. As we closed out from Exodus chapter 33 and verse 11, where Joshua stayed in the presence of God, and I mentioned that that's really the key to the Christian life. I believe that that's the key to finding direction in one's life. I think it's the key to maturing in the Christian life. It's the key to a pure life. It's our walk with God. On a regular basis, early will I seek thee, the psalmist said. I love the Psalms in regards to that because the Psalms are really directed to God. And you know, if you ever wonder what to pray, go to the book of Psalms and pray the scripture back to God. It's a beautiful thing. And I think God is honored when we pray the inspired word of God back to him. if we mean it, to be sure. But I want to give some practical things this evening in the time that we have. It won't be long. We have the privilege of baptizing tonight, which is a privilege, and we're happy about that. But I want to give some practical pointers regarding personal devotions. And like I said, some of you may have this down pat, but I know when I was 15 years of age and I got saved, I was very haphazard in my devotional life until that point. So from age 7 to age 15, I was all over the place. I would start for a couple days and then I would, you know, I said, oh, I'm going to read my Bible and I'm going to pray. And I made a prayer list and I would start a, you know, a Bible reading plan and so on. It would go for a couple of days and then I'd miss a day. And then I'd say, well, I'll make it up the next day. Or maybe I'd go and I would play around so much to where I was too tired. And so, Lord, I'll catch you a double tomorrow. Have you ever done that? You start bargaining with God about your walk with him and so on. And many times you find yourself running to the word of God just out of pure guilt because you know it's something you ought to do. But yet, are you consistent in the way you do it? And are you doing it As Brother Friesen talked about in my Sunday School class about having the right motive and how important motive is. And here we have the privilege of walking with the Creator. and getting his mind on things, and just him sharing his heart with us, and having that time of communion. And so I appreciate the fact that when I got saved, though, that I had a youth director that actually started me out by giving me some personal attention for one, and then he also pointed me to the scriptures. And then he gave me a book, as you have heard through the years, Be Joyful. And it was a book on the book of Philippians. It was a bit of a commentary, the B series that Warren Wearsby puts out. And I remember I devoured that as a teenager, and that helped me immensely, to have the right kind of mind. And it tells you how to have a joyful Christian mind, and that is a quote from him. And of course, I think if you read the book of Philippians, you'll see that to be true as well, where he says, rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. It's one thing to read it, it's another thing to live it, isn't it? And yet at the same time, having a consistent devotion life, I believe is critical. I believe it's vital for our lives, no matter what vocation we find ourselves. No matter what, Part of life we find ourselves. Whether we're young or middle-aged or old, we need God and we need to walk with Him on a regular basis. Number one, let me give you this, and I use this in acrostic form with the letter P, and I said we must develop our palate. And salvation gives us that initial start in the Christian life. In other words, when you get saved, I believe God gives you a taste for him, a desire for him. The psalmist says, I'm thirsty for God. I wanna have God. Have you ever been thirsty? How many times when you were younger, you say, oh, I'm so thirsty, I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna die of thirst, you know, and you're not really that far along, but at the same time, you're very thirsty, and you may hear that as a parent from your children. And yet we see here that the psalmist was thirsting for God. And when you thirst for something to that extent, then that desire overtakes you, becomes central to your mind, and then you want to fulfill that desire. I feel like because sometimes of our coldness, we have lost that desire, that thirst, or it's not as strong as it should be. But the Bible says in 1 Peter 2 in verse two, as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby. The sincere milk of the word. And of course, we know from Corinthians that, you know, those who are young in the faith, they eat the milk and as people mature, they go to the meat of the word. And I trust those who've been saved for a number of years, you're eating the filet mignon of the scriptures. At the same time, there are those who are still in the milk of the word, but it's all centered around the word. Whether you're drinking milk or whether you're eating the steak, it's the Word of God. And we need to be working towards that maturity. But when a baby is born, doctors and nurses and parents are concerned that that baby eats. And that's one of the first things they will look for for the health of a baby is that they're nursing, that they're eating properly, getting their nourishment. And the sooner that happens, the more pleased everyone is. And so when God saves a person, he automatically gives somebody, I believe, that desire. Something is wrong if you don't have that desire. I'm not gonna stand up here and try to get you to doubt your salvation, but I'm just telling you, as far as your spiritual life is concerned, if you have no desire for the Word of God, you need to check out your salvation. If you have no desire, you need to say, Lord, is there some sin that I've allowed to creep into my life that is sapping me of this desire, where I'm just not hungry for you? where I'm willing to just go day after day after day after day. And the only time I really get my Bible out is maybe on a Sunday. So I look good and I open up his pages and sits in the dash of the car or on the coffee table or the nightstand. But it's been a long time since I've picked that up and just perused his pages and received some nourishment where God was speaking to me. We've got to develop our palate. Salvation gives the initial start. If any man be in Christ, 2 Corinthians 5, 17, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. Your want to should change when you get saved. And if you say that I've prayed a prayer and yet nothing has really changed and I have my same old desires and I have really no spiritual direction or drive in my life, you need to check out your salvation. If you're saved, I'm not trying to get you to doubt, but I'm also trying to say, look, if you're a new creature in Christ, you ought to have that innate desire to say, you know, I want to talk to God. He came in. Your life should be changed. And so I also see here that when we talk about our palate or our taste for the Word of God and walking with God and praying to God, I say that sanctification protects our desire. In other words, you have to guard yourself from those things that will affect your desire. In other words, no junk food. Mama's know this that they I know when I was growing up that I'd want cookies or something My mom said wait after supper. You'll ruin your appetite What was she saying she was saying I don't want you to have junk food I want you to have nourishing food first Then you can have junk food But at the same time it's a priority And we find here that sanctification, when we talk about sanctification, it's a simple definition that means set apart. And if you're going to have a vibrant relationship with God, you're gonna have to be sanctified. Yes, you're set apart in regards to salvation where you were headed towards hell and now you're headed towards heaven. But at the same time, if you're gonna protect your Christianity, you need to be sanctified. If you're gonna protect your spiritual wellbeing, you need to be set apart. In other words, this has to become one of the priorities of your life. It's not always the only priority to be sure, but it is a vital priority that you must inculcate into your life. And that word inculcate actually means to become a part of you. It has to be a part of you. And one of the things that concerns me is I've been studying through Joshua and some of these other Old Testament passages of Scripture is the fact that God's people rode a roller coaster of life. And you would see them slowly but surely getting very complacent in their spiritual walk with the God of Israel. And when that took place, they started going down, down, down. And the sad thing about it is as many times they did not even recognize they're drifting. I use the illustration of, you know, going fishing and you go up to Pointe du Bois and you get in there and the wind dies down a couple of times this year, it was just like glass out there. And you'd go into a bay and it was just like glass. And yet you'd shut the motor off and it would stop. But then after a little bit of time, you'd have to fire that motor back up or get the paddle out because you had drifted. And you and I need to be careful about our spiritual drifting. And so we need to be sanctified and sanctification being set apart protects our desire. Where if you feed constantly on the wrong things, you'll begin to desire those wrong things more than you desire the right things. Your taste buds change. I'm not gonna ask how many people have tried diets. Keto. That's not the meat diet, is it? Yeah, that's the one. Yeah, amen. Give me meat. Just pray over it. It's okay. That's what Timothy says. Amen. Don't you like verses of scripture like that? But you know, we try these various things and we can change our taste buds. We can change our desire. And the sad thing is many of us have the wrong desires. And so we need to protect our spiritual life. Have you noticed a drift in your life? Have you noticed that when you first got saved, many times people who have no affiliation with church whatsoever, when they get saved, you know what? They wanna know, hey, what church should I go to? What do I need to do now? They want direction in their spiritual life. And now we find Christians ditching church. What's wrong, taste? Junk food. We need to develop our taste buds. There was a time where I didn't really enjoy a lot of preaching. And now I find myself, man, I enjoy, not me preaching, I enjoy listening to preaching. You change your taste buds by the more you do something. And so we must develop our palate. And the thing I also recognize, it's a decision we have to make. It's a choice. You know, who are we gonna yield to, the flesh or to the spirit? Who are we gonna yield to? And it's up to us. And then number two, not only must we develop our palate, we've got, or I should say, we should have a place. We should have a place. Now, there should be a place that you go to that's pretty much a signal in your mind that this is where you meet God. Now, you can walk with God throughout the day, okay? I understand the spirit walk. At the same time, there's just something when you can find a concentrated place to where you know that when you go to that place, you are there to walk with God. Years ago, I took a speed reading course. Mark Rasmussen was on the college, taught college, and he taught a speed reading course. Mark, one time, walked into a couple attorney's offices, and as he's talking to the secretary, a couple of the attorneys passed through the lobby way, and he started chatting with them, and he said, if I could double your reading speed in an hour, would you be interested? and both of them being attorneys, they said, yeah, that would help us out a lot. And he said, well, if each of you will give me $100, then I'll teach you how to double your reading speed. And he walked out about an hour and 15 minutes later with $200 in his pocket. He was flown out to university, I think it was Utah, it may have been Arizona, and he was given a 300-page book And in giving that 300-page book, he was given just a matter of minutes, I think it was somewhere around five, six minutes, he read that book. They gave him a sheet with 50 questions. He got 48 out of 50 right, just by speed reading. It was a developed thing as well, but when we took that course, he told us, he said, If you're going to read and comprehend what you're reading and retain what you're reading, you don't get in the Lazy Boy, kick your feet up, get the iced tea, and then lean back and read your book, because you know what's gonna happen. You're gonna go to sleep. Your mind's gonna wander. The book's gonna slap you in the face. And so what you do is you pick a place that's well lit, You look at, and you sit at a hard seat where you don't get all comfortable, because you're there for a purpose. and you begin that process of reading. But he set the stage for that. And there's just something about you finding a place. What did Jesus do? When he was not in the garden, he resorted to the Garden of Gethsemane on a regular basis. If you've ever been to the Garden of Gethsemane, it's really interesting because you can look out over through the garden right into the city of Jerusalem. I don't know if he loved that place because as he talked to the father, he could also see the city of Jerusalem, the beloved city. I don't know if that was the reason or not, but you know, sometimes he wasn't there. He was up in the Galilee region and he would resort to a mountain. He found a place that he could get alone and he could talk to his father. And we need to find a place that we can get alone and talk to our Father. I remember thinking of Brother Connor there. I don't know if he's had to go through this or not or any of the other missionaries, but we pulled a travel trailer for a couple of years when we were on deputation. And it was a tag along. And so when we'd get to a church and we'd hook things up, I'd unhook the van and many a morning I would get up and I would go to a McDonald's, get a coffee and I'd pull into the parking lot there. And I would sit there and I'd have my Bible in the van. When we pastored here in my office was in the basement there on Parmount Bay. That's where we had our Thursday night service. We had Thursday night midweek service then. And sometimes I'd get in the van and I would go south of town and just about two miles north, just a little bit before the curve down by Haskett. There was a field there that had a couple big trees and I would drive down that road and then I would take that unmaintained road and I would go sit underneath those trees to find a spot where I could give myself and say, I'm here for the express purpose of having my time with God. I needed that. I needed to get all the distractions aside. And folks, what I'm saying is, is you need to have a place. It might be your pasture, it might be your garage, it might be another room, it might be a chair, it may be whatever that place is for you where you are signaling to your mind and everyone else that you're there for the express purpose of meeting God. And now with the devices, it's all the tougher if you take them along with you. I know. I've probably been guilty like you have. You go to sit down and say, you know what? I'm gonna read my Bible. And then I have this stinking phone. And I'm gonna check my messages. I'll just check the news for just a minute or two to get the highlights. And before a long time's gone, am I right or wrong? And it's so easy to do, so you need to make sure that you pick a place that you can lay all those distractions aside and say, this is a place where I meet God. Do you have such a place? Now look, I'm not giving you this to send you on a guilt trip and say, well, I don't have a place like that. I don't have another room I could go to. All I'm saying is, these are helps. And if something like this applies to you that will help you walk with God and develop your walk with God, please utilize it. Maybe God will give you, this will spur you to think about, hey, where could I find that place? Is there a place that I can go to where I know that I'm meeting with God? That doesn't mean you can't read the Bible in your easy chair and drink tea. But when you're wanting to actually have that quality time with God, where there's no interruptions, isn't that what a husband and a wife long for? Wives say, boy, my husband's working all the time. Boy, I'd just like to have his full attention. Can you imagine how we should be towards our Heavenly Father? Amen. We should have a place. We should develop our palate. Number three, we need to understand that we're meeting a person. We are meeting God. Think about that. The Creator God. I just wrote down some of the aspects of who He is. He is God the Father, He's God the Son, He's God the Holy Spirit, He's Creator, He's Sustainer, He's Savior, He's Friend, He's Comforter, He's Helper, He's Brother, He's Advocate, He's Mediator, He's Lord, and He's the Great I Am. What do you need? What do you need in your life? He is. He's Jehovah. He is the I am. I am that I am has sent me unto you, is what Moses was told to say to Pharaoh. He is still the great I am. We're meeting a person. Number four, we must use the parchments. That means the Bible. In the book of Timothy, we find that Paul says as he's getting ready really to die, a martyr's death, he tells the people there to bring some books, but especially the parchments. So we know that Paul was a reader of other material. He was a student. If you go to Titus, he talks about how the philosophers of that day, he quoted some of the Cretan teachers of that day. And so he read, he was a student of other aspects of life. And so we know that he did that, but he also especially put the emphasis on the scriptures themselves. And so we need to use our Bibles. There are a lot of devotional helps out there. And I'm not against devotional helps. When I started the message, I mentioned about how I had that book on Be Joyful that helped me as I studied the book of Philippians, just getting going in the Christian life. Some people through the years for families they've used when they were strictly King James, they used to use keys for kids. We did that for a number of years. Some people would use other devotional helps. There's Baptist Bread that you can use. Some people, I've got the complete collection of Cowan's Desert Series, where she has written a bunch of devotionals and they're rich. There's a lot of the devotional helps out there. I've read Spurgeon's Morning and Evening devotional several times and so on. Those are helpful, but don't always use a crutch. Don't always use the gleanings of others. Make sure you go to the Word of God and have God give you the richness of His own Word to you. And so use the Bible as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word. And we know that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and it is profitable. We know Joshua chapter one in verse eight, we read it this morning in regards to this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate there in day and night and so on. We know Hebrews chapter four, verse 12, for the word of God is quick, it's alive. It's not said of any other book. The Bible's a living book. He says, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 1 Thessalonians 5, verse 23, tells us the makeup of man, how he is a trichotomy. He's made up of three parts. His body, his soul, and his spirit. And so here we find the Word of God touches on all those areas of life. That's what the scripture says. It's a dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow. You notice he deals with the inside, the heart of man, he deals with the spirit, the personality of man, and then he deals with the physical aspect of man. And it's a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It will check your motive. It will give you direction. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in his way. We must use the parchments. So in all the reading that you may do, don't just read the story. Sometimes you find yourself with those devotional helps, you'll gloss over the scriptures and you'll read the story. The story's not inspired, the scripture is. And so you've got to use your Bible. And I would say that in regards to family devotions that we'll tackle another time. But having family devotions, you can read storybooks and things of that nature, and that's all right, but make sure you use the Scriptures. And then number five, we must pray. We must pray. In 1 Thessalonians chapter five and verse 17, the Scripture says, pray without ceasing. That constant communion, I think it was Spurgeon who said, if I don't pray and utter a prayer to God within 10 minutes, I feel like I'm backslidden. He was so desirous of walking with God. It's also said that when he would get up to preach, there was a series of stairs that he would take to go up to the pulpit to preach. And he would say, I believe in the Holy Spirit, I believe in the Holy Spirit, I believe in the Holy Spirit, I believe in the Holy Spirit. He was dependent upon God throughout his day. Christmas Evans, I believe, was one who he would walk, I may be wrong on this particular individual, but a preacher of the past, a circuit rider, he would say as he walked, amen, praise the Lord, amen, praise the Lord, amen, praise the Lord, just to keep himself focused on God. What do you have to do? I'm not saying we have to walk around saying amen, praise the Lord. But we need not miss what the emphasis is and what the story is trying to get across to us. We've gotta pray. Every dynamic and vibrant Christian of the Bible, as well as those in history, were people of prayer. They were people of prayer. Do we pray? We should pray. not just having a prayer list. But I'm talking about where you're pouring your heart out to God. And if you have a prayer list, great, I trust I'm on there. At the same time, you know, you may have 30 names or 100 names or how many you have on your prayer list. You can pray and say, Lord, I don't know who's going through something that is a deep water or concern or a special trial. So if I need as I'm praying through these to rest on any particular individual and pray specifically for them, given a little bit more detail and a little bit more time, please point that out to me. And it's amazing how the Holy Spirit of God will guide you in that. And you know, there've been times where I know that some random name will come into my mind and I'm thinking, why in the world am I thinking about that person? And then all of a sudden you say, oh, you shoot them a text or you get in touch with them and you realize, hey, that was God prompting you because they were going through something, they needed your prayers. And even if they can't tell you anything in particular, it's good to pray for them, because the Holy Spirit told you to. And you're staying in tune, we need to be people of prayer. Spice up your prayer life. We need to pray. And then number six, and lastly, let me just say this. We must promise ourselves and God that we will walk with Him. That goes back to the decision. In other words, we call that commitment, don't we? It's amazing what we commit ourselves to. We'll commit ourselves to, you know, I wanna go fishing this weekend, so let's meet at five o'clock in the morning. We'll drive and go fishing. Boy, we'll do that. We can get up in the morning, no problem. We can do things like that. We commit ourselves to buy a house, and we'll sign a stack of papers. We'll buy a car, a truck, and boy, we'll sign on the dotted line and commit ourselves to payments or whatever. We'll drain the bank account to go do this, that, and the other, but have we committed ourselves in our walk with God? You may say, well, I don't really See the importance of that right now, pastor. My life is clicking along pretty well. Let me just say, you and I don't know what's gonna come into your life. It can change like that. It can change in a moment. And there's gonna come a time where you will need God. And you need to know that God has his ear bent towards you. and that he will hear you. But if you've walked your way and done your thing for so long, and then you start having trouble, you say, God, God, where are you? I need you now. In fact, the matter is you need him all the time. You need him all the time. Can you imagine what would happen to us as a church if all of us would commit ourselves to walking with God? It's not showboat religion. It's not hype. It's not so we can impress anyone. It's so we can walk humbly with our God. Wow, that's what God desires. You know, when it was only Adam and Eve, Wow, can you imagine what it was like to have God come in the cool of the day? Why the cool of the day? Adam was working during the day. He was made to work. But then, when it was evening time, God said, hey, let's talk. Let's just talk. Let's just spend some time together. That's why it was such a shock when sin came in and God came looking for Adam. Adam, Adam, where are you? Hey, I wanna talk to you. What happened? Sin. He desires to fellowship with us. That's why we're made. And he made you to fellowship with him. Wow. Quit trying to find out the will of God for your life, what you ought to do vocationally. Develop your relationship with God and you'll know. You'll know. You don't have to say, oh, is it this? Is it that? You don't have to flit around like a bee, suck a nectar. You walk with him and he'll guide you. Amen? Let's all stand with our heads bowed, our eyes closed. Learn to enjoy God. Learn to enjoy your walk with God. You know, when I preach a message like this, I run the risk of maybe people thinking that it's a duty. That's a bondage, I believe. Sure, we ought to do it. I understand structure, it helps us. Let all things be done decently and in order, I understand that. But let's not forget the personal relationship.
