Church Discipline to the Glory of God

Church discipline is intended to vindicate the offended, to win back the offender, and to bring honor and glory to the name of Christ. The actions of discipline, including excommunication, were instituted by Christ himself. Therefore, discipline is binding to the church and must be fulfilled.
