The Heart of the Persecuted

The local church is made up of those who are imperfect. We all say things, and do things at times that are hurtful (whether intentional or not), and sometimes even to the point of being vindictive to others. But, during these times of suffering or egregious acts, we show our true colours of whether Jesus Christ is truly our Master and Teacher or not. We show whether we are submitted to God's will or not. The hardest thing for anyone to do is to turn the other cheek, so may you exhibit the true heart of the persecuted, rather than the heart of persecutor.
