7. Jobs Three Friends

Today we learn that Job has three smart, well educated friends who sacrificed their time to comfort and sympathize with him.

As we get to Chapter 3 Job finally begins to pour out his grief. Perhaps he is looking more at his grief now than before. Perhaps his comforting friends remind him of how much he has lost, and his because of his great grief and pain he regrets even for the day of his birth.
