This is going to be a fun study.
This is the culmination of our doctrinal study on the depravity
of homosexuality and the transgender movement. Which is our application ministering
to homosexuals. Next week, we'll do questions
and answers. And I've gotten about seven questions
that I'll cover. If you have any other questions,
be sure and send them to me. Be sure and send them to me.
Also, I'd like to remind from our lecture on homosexuality
and women from last week, where we talked about hair length for
women. Remember, I stressed that the
Bible does not give us specific hair length. What it does give
us is gender-specific identification. So when we talk about short hair
for women, we are not talking about a hairstyle which the husband
prefers. Bible gives a lot of leeway there. We are talking about what in
America the slang is called a butch haircut. That's a part on the
side with the hair slicked down and combed in a masculine manner,
or the head shaved, partial or in its entirety. That's what
we're talking about there. We also remember, we stress that
there are exceptions. One is aging. Many Anglo women as they age
begin to lose their hair or their hair becomes brittle and they
simply cannot wear it very long. The other is disease. There are
a number of diseases both for Anglos and other races. that
either the disease or the treatment causes hair loss. And then, of
course, there is the husband's preference in 1 Peter 3, 1 and
2. Even non-Christians, a wife should
submit to her husband and wear her hair just for him. The only
exception for that is if the husband wants his wife to behave
as a homosexual woman, as a lesbian. She would not have to submit
to that. Having said that, let's go to the Lord in prayer, shall
we? O Lord God, this is your holy word. We are your servants. Give us wisdom that we might
know your testimonies. You have prayed, O Lord, sanctify
them in truth. Thy word is truth. Use your holy,
eternal, inerrant word to set us apart this day to your service
and to your glory. Show us now great and mighty
things which we do not know. The sower sows the word. Let not your word go out and
return empty, but accomplish that purpose for which you are
sending it out and for which you have gathered us together.
Protect us from Satan who will snatch your word. Protect us
from a wrong reaction to difficulties and discouragements and persecutions
which make our hearts hard and unresponsive to your word. Protect
us from the world's cares, and the delight of wealth, and the
passion of other interests, which enter in and choke your word,
making it fruitless. Rather, give us good soil, O
Lord. Plow out now the hard ground
of our hearts, that your sown word would send roots downward,
and bear fruit upwards. Unsheath now the sword of your
spirit, O LORD. Cut to the dividing point of
bone and marrow, soul and spirit. Judge now the thoughts and intention
of each heart gathered here. Spread your word before us as
a banquet table, O LORD. grant grace that we might eat
of the rich meat and drink of the sweet milk of the great doctrines
of your word. Give us the heart of the prophet
who cried to you, thy words were found and I did eat them and
thy words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart.

in a dark and a wicked age. Broad is the way, and many are
on it, which leads to destruction. Make your word a lamp to our
feet. Make your word a light to our
path. Show us that narrow way that
you would have us run. And Lord, as we run in the paths
of your commandments, enlarge our hearts that in loving you
we might be more obedient to your written word. Drop your
word against our lives as a plumb line, O Lord. Grant grace that
we might see how we deviate from its high and holy purposes. Make your word to us a mirror,
O Lord. Grant grace that we might not
be as those who look and go away and forget, but make us active
doers, not forgetful listeners of your holy word. O Lord, because
of our fealty to you, because of our undying love and devotion
to your Son, our resurrected Savior. We pledge to you this
day our total submission to your holy, eternal, inerrant written
word. And we pledge to you our unquestioning
obedience to all of its commands. In the name of our Lord and resurrected
Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Amen and Amen. Okay, when we talk about ministering
to homosexuals, we must remember the key doctrinal teachings on
homosexuals. Ministry to homosexuals cannot
be done apart from the Word of God. Romans 1, 26-28, For this
reason God gave them over to degrading passions, for their
women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural.
And in the same way also men abandoned the natural function
of women. and burned in their desire toward
one another, men with men committing indecent acts, receiving in their
own person the due penalty of their error. Just as they did
not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over
to a depraved mind to do those things which are not proper."
It's very important as heterosexuals, for us to remain cognizant of
the fact that homosexual sin is uniquely distinct from heterosexual
sin. In that, in the homosexual, both
the desire and the action is sin. If the heterosexual is involved
in heterosexual sin, pornography, fornication, adultery, he need
only repent of the sin. He may not repent of his heterosexuality. In fact, to suppress his heterosexuality
would be a sin and damage to him spiritually. But, according
to God the Holy Spirit, the very desire of the homosexual is unnatural
versus the very desire of the heterosexual is natural, as spoken
of here, the natural function for that which is unnatural. The result of this are indecent
acts carried out by depraved minds. In the heterosexual community,
sexual intimacy is neither indecent nor depraved if expressed in
marriage. This is not true with homosexuality. The desire of the heterosexual
is good, it's given by God, and simply needs to be brought under
the control of the Holy Spirit. The homosexual's very desire
is unnatural, degrading, indecent, and depraved, as defined by God
the Holy Spirit. The so-called celibate homosexual
is still living in rebellion against God by his desires. He
is still a homosexual, a non-practicing homosexual, true, but still a
homosexual, and as such is still in sin and unrepentant. That's very hard for heterosexuals
to wrap their heads around. because heterosexuals simply
need to repent of this. Homosexuals need not only repent
of the action, but the roots of the action. The roots of the
action of the homosexual is that he exchanged the natural function. He abandoned the natural function. As a result, homosexuality is
a choice. Men abandoned the natural function
of the woman. Women exchanged the natural function
for that, which is unnatural. Of course, homosexuals will say
they've been born that way. And it's an embarrassment for
me that leaders in the church are
beginning to embrace this lie. What sin, okay, let's take heterosexual
sin. What heterosexual sin are we
willing to accept because the heterosexual sinner
says he was born that way? Pornography, adultery, fornication,
rape, abuse of women, pedophilia. Are we willing to say, well,
he was born that way, there's nothing he can do about it? because
he claims to have been born that way? No. And we don't accept
the validity of the born that way argument if it is contradicted
by scripture. So homosexuals have just added
to their sins lying to their sexual depravity. That shouldn't
surprise us. Shouldn't surprise us because
the homosexual has been given over by God. God, how can you say they've
been given over by God? That's so judgmental. Oh, I would
never say that. God, the Holy Spirit says it.
It's like when I'm witnessing and I say it is appointed for
men to die once and after that comes judgment. God, John, how
can you be so judgmental? I don't believe God would send
anyone to hell. You're not saying my sainted
aunt, just because she wasn't a Christian and she was better
than all those hypocrites in the church, you're not saying
she's burning in hell. See, I would never say that,
but God the Holy Spirit does. John 14, six. I am the way, the
truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but
by me. Hebrews 9.27 It is appointed for men to die once, and after
that comes judgment. Revelation 20.15 And if any man's
name was not found in the book of life, he was cast into the
lake of fire. God the Holy Spirit says concerning
homosexuals, God gave them over to degrading passions. God gave
them over to depravity, a depraved mind. We know one of the doctrines
of the unredeemed is the doctrine of depravity. Christians are
not depraved. We are delivered from that. We must be as cautious when seeking
to minister to homosexuals as Moses would be in his relationship
with Pharaoh. Both were unrepentant under God's
judgment and given over to their sins. That required an element
of caution for Moses. He was not dealing with a man
who was open. He was dealing with a man whose
heart had been hardened. And God has given homosexuals
over to depraved mind and degrading passions, and unless God changes
that judgment upon them, it stands. The Word of God defines both
the sin of homosexuality and what qualifies as repentance. We in the church do not get to
do that. Hebrews 4, 12 and 13 says, For
the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged
sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit,
both joints of marrow, able to judge the thoughts and intentions
of the heart. There is no creature hidden from
His sight. All things are opened and laid
bare to His eyes of Him whom we have to do. The Word of God, not the sinner, defines both
the sin and its origin. Again, not the sinner, but the
Word of God. Remember the testimony of Adam
in Genesis 3.12? The woman you gave me, she may
be the sin. That doesn't establish the origin
of sin as from Eve. doesn't mitigate the consequences
of sin from Adam. God said, no, you rebelled and
all creation fell. The testimony of Eve, the servant
deceived me and I ate. It's part of your creation, God,
so it's your fault. That does not establish the origin
of the sin outside of Eve, nor free her from the personal responsibility. The testimony of the homosexual,
I was born this way as created by God, is a lie and it fails
the test of scripture. The testimony of many naive youth
ministers and pastors that homosexuality is as a result of the imputed
sin of the fall That he is a homosexual because of some damage done to
him in the womb by the fall. And thus he was born this way.
It's not supported by scripture. God the Holy Spirit, not homosexuals,
defined this in. God the Holy Spirit says the
homosexual was not born that way but rather chose to be that
way. Now, before the world system
and the medical community embraced homosexuality, There were extensive
studies on the environment, especially the childhood environment, which
led to a man or woman becoming a homosexual. These have since
been suppressed, and homosexuals will no longer honestly relate
their childhood experiences because the Born This Way doctrine even
though it is unsupported by any scientific evidence, has, like
evolution, been accepted as reality. The repentant homosexual is not
a celibate, but rather a heterosexual. It's the were-some-of-you doctrine
found in 1 Corinthians 6, 9-11. 1st Corinthians 6 9-11 take a
pause here and let Pastor Greg read Pastor Greg if you would
read 1st Corinthians 6 9-11 please and let's see Dr. Schaub, I'll get you to turn
to Genesis 1 and I'm going to have you read a series of passages
from Genesis 1 and 2. Okay, Pastor Greg, 1 Corinthians
9-11. Do you not know that the unrighteous
will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. neither fornicators, nor idolaters,
nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor
covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will
inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, but
you were washed. but you were sanctified, but
you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the
Spirit of our God." Now notice this. They were effeminate homosexuals. They were solemnites, practicing
homosexuals. But, these Corinthians are no longer
that way. We know from primary source historical
documents that both the great Greek philosophers such as Plato
and the Greek temple system and the Greek culture were all rife
with homosexuality. But they were delivered from
that. They became heterosexuals. Milton, turn to Genesis 1 and
2 please. But they became heterosexuals. They were feminine men, they
were homosexuals, but they are no longer. The key word here
is sanctified. They were washed by the blood
of Christ, they were justified by the blood of Christ, in the
name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God. And they
were sanctified, which means set apart to God's service and
God's glory. God will not set apart a homosexual
man for his service and glory. He will only set apart homosexual,
heterosexual men and women. In the ministry of evangelism
to homosexuals, one of the things we have to do is bring creation
to the forefront. both the divine nature of creation
and the historical Adam and the fact that life begins at conception. So two aspects of creation must
be understood, embraced, and taught. The creation of Adam,
a historical figure, and our creation at conception. God in
His sovereignty decreed that there should be two genders and
two genders only, male and female. At the creation of the historical
Adam and Eve, this was not allegorical. It was a literal account of the
decisions of God concerning the creation of human life. Okay,
Milton, I'm going to make you work a little here. So read Genesis
1.26, Brother Milton. Then God said, Let us make man
in our image, according to our likeness, and let them rule over
the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over
the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping
thing that creeps on the earth. Yeah. There. Nothing could be
clearer. God created man masculine. Genesis 2-7, Brother Milton. It says, Then the Lord God formed
man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life, and man became a living being. So here we have
a man, Adam. Now we know from Romans 5, and
we're not going to go into the doctrine of imputation here,
that the historical Adam is inseparable from the doctrines of salvation.
Now, Brother Milton, flip the page over and read Genesis 2.18,
please. It says, Then the Lord God said,
It is not good for the man to be alone. I'll make him a helper
suitable for him. So now we have man distinct from
woman being spoken of. Now we're going to have the creation
of woman, Genesis 2.21-23. So the Lord God caused a deep
sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept. Then he took one of
his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. Then the Lord
God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the
man, and brought her to the man. The man said, This is now bone
of my bones. and flesh of my flesh, she shall
be called woman, because she's taken out of man. Yes, that's
a great rendition. I've heard that before. Adam
saw Eve and said, whoa, man, look at this. Okay, so here we
have the creation of woman. a distinct gender. Now, Brother
Milton, Genesis 2, 24 and 25. For this reason a man shall leave
his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife, and they
shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were
both naked, and were not ashamed. So, at the dawn of creation,
the creation of Adam, a man, the creation of woman Eve now
the creation of sexual intimacy because they were both naked
they were not ashamed and then God commanded them to procreate
so through sexual intimacy and enjoyment of each other's bodies
the earth would soon become filled with children now this reality
is affirmed both the Genesis account and two genders by God
the Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus answered and said, have
you not read that he created them from the beginning, made
them male and female? So here, Jesus affirms two genders,
two genders only, but he also affirms the Genesis account.
I never try to be more holy than God the Son. And if God the Son
believes the Genesis account and the historical Adam and the
historical Eve, I try not to be more intellectually sophisticated
than God the Son. This affirms both the Genesis
account and two genders. by the teachings of God the Holy
Spirit, Ephesians 5 31. For this reason a man shall leave
his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife and the
two shall become one flesh. I've never tried to be more scientifically
sophisticated and intellectually mature and more holy and insightful
than God the Holy Spirit. Here God the Holy Spirit affirms
two genders but he also affirms the Genesis account. Praise God
that it is so clear. What about the fall of man? So, what about after the fall
of man? Can homosexuals argue that the
imputed sin of Adam created them as homosexuals? So what we're
saying here is that it's very clear here. God at creation made
men male and female. But then some men argue because
of the fall, people are created imperfect. Now, we're not going
into the doctrine of the depravity of the sin of abortion and the
murdering of unborn babies. But part of the argument for
this is, well, you know, some children are born without the
intellectual ability to walk or to move their limbs. They're
born without the intellectual ability to advance more than
just from the infant stage. And they call them retarded or
deformed. Well, all man is born with needs. I was not born talking. I had
the need to be able to learn to talk. I was not born able
to read. I had the need to be able to
learn to read. I was not born with the ability
to see, except for about three or four inches, and that fuzzy. I had the need to learn to do
that. I was not born with the ability to recognize that my
mother was my mother, my father was my father, my brother was
my brother, bananas were bananas. I had to learn that. So it is the pride of man that
says that certain children who do not rise to our level of intellectual
sophistication are retarded. Or the fact that I had to learn
to walk, I had to learn to use my hands and feet, that some
children are born without that level, are born deformed. But in God's value system, they
are not. We're all born with needs, and
that's why we call these children with special needs. And it grants
us the ability to minister and love them all their lives, just
as all people need to, in a special way. So they argue that since
some people are born retarded and deformed, which they are
not, that some people may be born
homosexuals, which they are not. The resulting imputed sin of
Adam does not affect the decision of God in terms of his creative
actions at the point of conception and beyond. Human life begins,
both male and female, at conception. This is a decision of God. Whether male or female, God makes
this decision both in the organs he creates, male and female,
and the desires he creates in terms of their ordained roles
in life. Psalm 139, 13, and 14. For you
formed my inward parts, you wove me in my mother's womb. God makes
no mistakes. I will give thanks to you, for
I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works,
and my soul knows it very well. So, our physical appearance is
created by God while in the mother's womb. But not only that, our
desires. Psalm 139.16, Your eyes have
seen my unformed substance, and in your book were all written
the days that were drained from me, when as yet there was none
of them. So, God had a plan for us. Dr. Schaub is married to a wonderful
woman, Linda Schaub. That was God's plan that he fall
in love with her. I am married to a wonderful woman,
Eleanor May. That was God's plan. My sister,
she waited on God's plan for Uncle John Booker. My daughter,
she waited on God's plan for my son-in-law, Jason Joy. This was all written and ordained. And God does not write out and
ordain homosexual desires, lusts, marriages, and relationships.
So, the fall of man does not affect God's decisions in terms
of the development of our organs, our gender, our sexual organs,
nor our desires. Our natural propensity and ultimate
love for the spouse he will give us. From the creation of the first
Adam and Eve down through the ages, God has reigned sovereign
over the gender of the baby. Okay, freshman biology. Shall we go over this? A child's
biological sex, male or female, is determined by the chromosome
that the male parent contributes. Males have an XY chromosome. females have XX sexual chromosomes. The male can contribute the X
or the Y. The female must and can only
contribute one of their X chromosomes. A male infant results if the
male contributes the Y chromosome. A female infant results if he,
the male, contributes his X chromosome. We can note here the unjust persecution
and judgment of women and wives over the years for not, quote,
producing a male body. This persecution is of the world
and its ignorance, the flesh and its pride, and Satan and
his natural hatred of the gender of women. The fact is the male,
the husband, determines the gender. The statement, you need to give
me a boy this time, can only be said by the wife. Now, I never
said that because I'm not ignorant. Eleanor never said it because
we wanted what God gave us. But men, if you have ever intimated
or said to your wife, I wanted a boy and you gave me a girl,
you need to repent and ask for forgiveness. There exists no
homosexual gene or chromosome or any other proof that the biological
status of the homosexual is genetic. The genome study has broken down
completely the gene system. No homosexual desire is of a
genetic origin. There is no proof at all. Rather,
it's a choice. Right now, that is one of what
we call the Holy Grail, the thing which all people seek for in
the scientific community. And that is the proof that homosexual
desire is genetic. It's taken over the quest of
the other two searches. One is the proof that evolution
is true, which has not been found, and the proof of life on other
planets, which has not been found. But even these pale in the depravity
of the scientific community as it seeks to prove homosexuality
is of genetic origin and men are born that way. While the
scientific community laughs at Christians for their belief in
the historical atom as unscientific, they at the same time abandon
science by announcing that homosexuals are born that way. Christians accept the proven
scientific biological fact of the X and Y chromosome, not only
as scientific, but as scriptural. It is in accordance with the
creation of God and the decision lies with God, not man. Thus, Christians are more scientific
in their view of gender than non-Christians. Now, here we
have a strong apologetical case. I'm going to step aside here
just for a minute. We have a strong apologetical case for the Christian
who argues that the Christian view of homosexuality as a choice
is the compassionate view. And what I mean is, let's just
talk philosophically about this. Is the Christian view that homosexuality
is a sin based on choice Is it the judgmental harsh view or
is the view that homosexuality is a result of the progress of
evolution and it has its origins in the genetic evolution of man
and woman? This former view reveals the
cruelty of evolution. when it teaches that homosexuality
is determined at birth. Why is that cruel? Well in the
evolutionary model, what is the highest good? The highest good
is the propagation of the gene pool through the survival of
the fittest. That's how evolutionists say
evolution takes place. If this is true, then those who practice homosexuality,
if they are truly born that way, the onward march of evolution
and the propagation of the gene pool and the survival of the
fittest has set aside them for extinction. They are eliminated from the
gene pool because they cannot propagate. Homosexual genes as a result
and homosexuals as a class are destined by evolution for extinction. Now if the evolutionary model
is true, then homosexuals should have long since been eliminated
from the gene pool because they don't reproduce. Just as any
defect which causes the species to be impotent, sterile,
non-reproductive, they pass away. And we say, yes, they were eliminated
by evolution. If the evolutionary model is
true, then homosexuals are mutants destined to be eliminated by
nature and evolution from the gene pool. We as Christians reject
this view of homosexuality. Homosexuality, as taught by Holy
Scripture, is a choice. Homosexuals are not mutants. They are not subspecies. Rather, they have made serious,
sinful choices from which they can be delivered if they truly
repent. Now which is more compassionate? In the ministry of evangelism
to homosexuals, which includes repentance from the desire, the
church must deal with the hypocrisy of the church's response to heterosexual
sin versus homosexual sin. So one of the first things we
have to do is understand the doctrine of homosexuality. It is a choice, A. B, we have
to deal with the fact that homosexuals are not created that way. It's
a choice. That was B. C, as the church
ministers to homosexuals, it must do its own housecleaning
first. While the church condemns homosexual
cross-dressing, and switching of gender roles. It simultaneously
turns a blind eye to the same conduct with heterosexual men
and women. Men with long hair, ponytails,
and braids are allowed to perform on the praise teams. The subject
of men and hair is not addressed from the pulpit. Men with pierced
ears, earrings, necklaces, and braids are allowed to perform
on praise teams, teach Bible studies, and serve in leadership
roles in the church. This subject is never addressed
from the pulpit. Women with shaved heads, all
are partial. Butch haircuts, hair cut to the
point where they may have parts with slicked down hair, where
they purposefully look like men, are allowed to serve on praise
teams and in the education program. Women who dress in androgynous
or masculine styles in denial of their created gender, again,
are allowed to serve in praise teams. They are allowed to serve in
praise teams and in educational programs. Not only that, in the church, gender roles are lost to many heterosexual
congregations. as church leadership allows women to fill roles specifically limited to men. So, you can see that homosexuals
say, hey, you have you have as heterosexuals blurred the lines
in appearance and roles and willingly do so and affirm these decisions
while condemning us. Homosexuals are correct when
they say that the church has singled out homosexual sin while
ignoring heterosexual sin. Of the ten gender sins the church
has turned a blind eye to nine heterosexual sins and only exercises
church discipline on the tenth, the homosexual sin. Number one,
hair. Number two, effeminate jewelry,
hair, worn by men. Shaved heads, worn by women.
Number two, effeminate jewelry, as worn by men. Number three,
Attire, androgynous, genderless dressing by men and women. Number four, fornication, sexual
intimacy between single people. When Ellen and I would start,
begin our college ministry, one of the first things she would
do is meet with all the women in the ministry and me with all
the men and find out who was sleeping with who. Call them
to repentance or remove them from any type of leadership role or identification with the ministry
unless they repented. When's the last time any youth
minister in the church and his wife sorted through the youth
in the ministry and found out who was sexually active and who
was not and called them to repentance? Abortion, the killing of unborn
babies, adultery, sexual intimacy with a married person to whom
you are not married, divorce and remarried outside the exception
of scripture, women and roles in the homing church, divorced
and remarried men in the roles of the church. All these, although
they may be given a lip service condemnation, are not disciplined
in the church. And homosexualies rightly point
out that it is only their sexual relationships and their transgender
sins that are singled out by the church. And they know, these
church members in your congregation, they know these students in your
college ministry who are involved in these things. and they know
your hypocrisy as you turn a blind eye. Though they are correct
in pointing out this hypocrisy, the church's response should
not be, well, you're right, we're being hypocritical, we'll have
homosexuals in the church. It should not be capitulation,
but rather a return to God's standards in regards to heterosexual
conduct. Unfortunately, it is the shame
of the history of the modern church, rather than returning
to the scriptural standard at each stage to compromise and
say, here, no further. I can remember when long hair
on men was not permitted in anybody in leadership. And then it was
preached against. Well, no, we're going to give
on that, but we won't give up on Jewelry. Then pretty soon
pastors were wearing necklaces and bracelets and having piercings. Well, we're just going to have
dressed like men. And well, pretty soon women on
the praise team were dressing like men. Well, about fornication among
the youth. Well, pretty soon fornication,
abortion, adultery, divorce, all these things became reclamation
ministries rather than forbidden actions. Women in roles in the
church Divorced and remarried men rose in the church. These are all now ignored. At
each step there was a compromise. Till now we've come to number
10. We say, well, we will never compromise there. But the church
will. You see, the last step in this
degradation will be to factor in homosexual sin with the same
leniency as heterosexual sin. Because why not? I recently heard of a man with
a large prayer church organization meeting with large donors and
leaders of his ministry, assuring him that this organization would
never endorse the homosexual transgender depravity. But he
can't say that with any assurance because his organization turns
a blind eye to these other nine issues. The beginning of this is seen
in the teaching of this organization and many churches that celibate
homosexuals should be welcome in the church. Well, what's the
next step? Monogamous homosexuals. Well,
that's already happening in some denominations. The final step
will be the conclusion that sexual sin is so compulsive for heterosexuals as well as homosexuals. We should
not be judgmental. And as a number of denominations
have capitulated in the area of homosexual, rather than take
the stand on homosexual sin, heterosexual sin. Because that's
the real area. It's not compassion. It's that
if we deal with homosexuality, we will have to deal with heterosexual
sin, and it's just easier to say, well, we just shouldn't
judge each other. Another reason for the capitulation
is money. There's only one reason why gender-specific
countries capitulate to the depravity of the U.S. and European powers
in the area of heterosexual gender roles and homosexual behavior,
money. And that's the same reason many gender-specific ministries
will capitulate money. Only ministries grounded in the
sovereignty of God, the sufficiency of Christ, and the authority
of the holy eternal inerrant written word will be able to
stand against the spiritual blackmail of the threat of withholding
funds. If we have to be pragmatic, unless
we capitulate in this area, we'll lose people and people are money. Well, that's been one of the
basis of the capitulation of the nine heterosexual sins, and
you can expect the same thing in homosexual sins. As it pertains
to the ministry of evangelism and the homosexual, the first
application for the church in all ministries is to return to
a high standard of moral excellence for heterosexuals, so as to present
a witness and alternative for homosexuals. I say in my marriage seminar,
in terms of the use of the tongue by your children. A strong argument
by a mother is, you cannot speak to me that way. Have you ever
heard me speak to your father that way? Do you ever hear me
shout at him, be rude to him, ignore him, walk away from him
and slam the door? I do not treat your father that
way. You will not treat me that way. That is only an effective
argument if the mother lives in a respectful, submissive relationship
with her husband. Otherwise, the child is looking
at her and going, yeah, I see you do it all the time. It is
the same with heterosexual sin and the homosexual community. When the church says, we will
not tolerate homosexual sin any more than we tolerate heterosexual
sin, the homosexualist thing, oh, okay, then I get a free pass
because you tolerate all heterosexual sin. The last time A heterosexual
has been disciplined, refused communion, asked to step down
from a position because of heterosexual sin. When we are ministering to the
homosexuals, the ministry to homosexuals is exclusively evangelism. Homosexuals are not Christians.
We do not fold homosexuals in the church and seek to disciple
them, even if they claim to be celibate. God has given over
homosexuals to the sin and depravity. Romans 1.24, God gave them over
to the lust of their hearts. Romans 1.26, God gave them over
to degrading passions. Romans 1, God 28, God gave them
over to a depraved mind. God will not give over, give
up a Christian as he has given over or given up homosexuals
to sin and depravity. Romans 8 37-39 But in all these
things we overwhelmingly conquer through him who loved us. For
I am convinced that neither life, nor death, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other thing will be able to separate us from
the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. God does not give up or
give over Christians. Nothing separates them. John
10 27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow
me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No
one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given
them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them
out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one. God
the Father does not give over Christians to sin. God the Father
does not give up on Christians. The homosexual is under the judgment
of God. Romans 128, and receiving in
their own persons the due penalty of their error. know as in 1
Corinthians 6, 9, and 10, or do you not know that the unrighteous,
what? They will not inherit the kingdom
of God. Do not perceive, neither fornicators,
nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves,
nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revivers, nor swindlers,
will inherit the kingdom of God. They are under the judgment of
God, receiving the due penalty of their error. 1st Timothy 1.8
says, but we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully. Verse 9, realizing the fact that
the law is not made for the righteous person, but those who are lawless
and rebellious. And in this class, we are given
homosexuals. In this class, we are given homosexuals. Leviticus 20 verse 13, if there
is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman,
both of them have committed a detestable act. They shall surely be put
to death. Their blood guiltiness is on
them. Now, we know in the new covenant,
because of Romans 13, 1 through 5, the church does not carry
out corporal punishment and legal discipline on its members, but
it tells us that homosexuals are under the judgment of God. They are condemned by the law.
Their blood guiltiness is upon them. The Christian is not under
God's judgment. Christians need not fear the
judgment of God. as do homosexuals. Romans 8.1,
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Well, John, we'll all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Yes, we will, but according to Romans 8.1, the judgment will
be not guilty. For homosexuals, the judgment
will be guilty. 1 John 4.18, there is no fear
in love. Perfect love casts out fear,
because fear involves punishment. The one who fears is not perfected
in love. And Christians who fear the judgment
of God do not understand the love of God who gave His only
Son, that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but
have eternal life. John 3, 16. True God may and
does discipline Christians, but this is for their good. It is
never punitive. It is always redemptive. What does Hebrews 12, 6 say? For whom the Lord loves, He disciplines. He does not punish in anger. Why, in verse 7, He disciplines
you as sons. You are not being given over.
What does verse 10 say? He disciplines us for our good
that we might share in His holiness. God disciplines us for our good.
When Christians sin, they need never say, what bad thing will
God do to me because I've sinned? Because He always disciplines
us for our good. It may be painful, but it will
be for our good. The hallmark of the homosexual
is that the punishment of God has resulted in the homosexual
being given over to sin. God does not punish Christians,
nor does he give them over to sin. The hallmark of the Christian
heterosexual is that the discipline of God, which brings the Christian
back to God and is a sanctifying work in the life of the Christian,
for their good. Remember Hebrews 12.10, He disciplines
us for our good. Why? So that we can share in
His holiness. And verse 11, His discipline
yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Now God can and
does use cataclysmic events to bring His children to repentance.
Luke 15.14, the prodigal son, it says a severe famine occurred.
And because of this, in verse 17, he came to his senses. If
this severe famine had not occurred, the prodigal son, even after
he had used up his money, may have found the life of an indolent,
slothful sinner more preferable than going back and working for
his father and being a part of the family. But God did not lead
the prodigal son into adultery, into fornication, into drunkenness,
into homosexuality to bring him back to God. God used a cataclysmic
event, the severe famine. God will not entice Christians
to sinful acts such as homosexuality to bring them to God. James 1,
13 and 14. Let no one say that when he is
tempted, I'm being tempted by God. For God cannot be tempted
by evil, and he himself does not tempt anyone. But each one
is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. God does not make people homosexuals
so they will repent. The people say of alcoholics,
until they hit rock bottom, they'll repent. Well, that's not true.
But nor is it true of God. God will not lead a man into
homosexuality to bring him back to God. Homosexuals are lost. They are depraved. They are under
God's judgment. They've been given up by God
for the pursuit of their degrading passions. As such, they are not
Christians. As a result, the call to repentance,
faith in Christ, resulting in new birth and a return to the
heterosexual nature, is the sole ministry to homosexuals. 2 Corinthians
5.17, if anyone is in Christ, he's a new creature. All things
have passed away. All things have become new. It's incomprehensible. that you would say, yes, he's
a born-again Christian who lusts after men. He's just not doing
it. She's a born-again Christian who lusts after women. She's
just not doing it. No, the old is passed away. They are now heterosexual. It
is a source of shame and embarrassment to the 21st century Protestant
Church that there has been such a devaluing of the gospel in
terms of its transforming power, the power of the cleansing blood
of Christ, the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, the power of the
new and regenerated life, the power of the sanctifying work
of the holy eternal inerrant written word, both in the gospel
and discipleship, that the modern church does not believe the homosexual
can ever be a heterosexual. As long as that is the case, celibate homosexuals will enter
the church and seduce our children and abuse our children and our
youth. Evangelistic ministries to homosexuals
should occur outside of the church or ministry fellowship. Now,
in the 20th century, the American Evangelical Church had gotten
away with folding non-Christians into the fellowship of the church.
Bring non-Christians to church, bring them to Sunday school,
bring them to the church fellowships, let them see how church lives,
become their friends, fold them into the fellowships, and we
can lead them to Christ. The reason they were able to
do this is the fact that non-Christians were culturally Christians in
terms of their basic moral outlook. This began to change in the late
20th century as Pagan drinkers, dope smokers,
drug users, adulterers and fornicators began to influence church members
rather than vice versa, especially in the youth ministry. Now in the 21st century, the
non-Christian community is not only blatantly secular, but openly
depraved. Listen carefully. In his depravity,
the homosexual longs to be loved by men. And he will find this in the
setting of church fellowship. Men's ministry, where men are
hugging, clasping hands in prayer, sitting in close proximity one
another, They are doing this in total purity because they
are mature heterosexual men. But this will be a haven for
the depraved homosexual who has been divided in and has been
invited in and is treated as if he was a heterosexual. Church fellowship will not redeem
homosexuals but it will prove a hunting ground for their depraved
lusts. The lust of the homosexual is
a driving force in his life. Romans 127 says they burn in
their desire for one another. The homosexual be a corrupting
influence upon the church fellowship or ministry. 1 Corinthians 15.33
Do not be deceived. Bad company corrupts good morals. It's a principle of ministry.
Intentional ministry ascends. Luke 6.40 Every disciple will
be like his teacher. Casual fellowship descends. 1
Corinthians 15.33 Bad company corrupts good morals. That's
why we must be so careful about the fellowship that we encourage
in our church and ministry. Ellen and I never joined a church
where the youth ministry was seen as evangelistic rather than
discipleship. Some youth ministries I've spoken
in are about 40% Christian and 60% outreach, and the youth minister
is so excited. Well, he should be the evangelism
minister, not the youth minister. Because bad company corrupts
good manners, morals. You see, this is especially true
but not limited to children's and youth ministry. A church
or ministry will not survive the naive folding in of homosexuals
and transgenders into the children and youth ministry. It will no
longer survive this than is today the secular school program surviving
it. Parents will no more allow their
children to receive Christian education in a deprived atmosphere
than they will in their secular education. I'll tell you, if
I went to a church And I saw women looking like men ministering
in the children's ministry. And then I went over to the youth
ministry and saw, uh, you know, 5, 10% of them, obviously transgender
boys dressing like girls and homosexual relationships. I wouldn't
put, I wouldn't join that church. And if somebody came to me and
told me your ministry or church looked like that, I would say,
get out before it's too late. Application number three, men
should only evangelize homosexuality through proclamation in large
group setting. In other words, in an evangelistic
meeting, which is impersonal. This is due to the homosexual's
burning desire for men. There must be no emotional intimacy
between the homosexual and the one presenting the gospel. There are a number of men who
do service for us. There's an exterminator. There is a lawn man. There is
a mechanic. These men are heterosexuals.
They're all married. I've tried to create a friendship
bridge with them for sharing the gospel and it's worked very
well and I've been able to share the gospel with them. You can't
do this with a homosexual. A minister, evangelist, or any
Christian should no more witness and minister to a homosexual
on a one-on-one basis than he should knowingly meet one-on-one
with a woman who is burning in her desire to have sex with him. That's hard for heterosexuals
to understand. It was a guy in the college ministry. He's a full-time staff man who
insisted that he could do one-on-one evangelism with homosexuals,
get to know them, become their friends. I said, they're on a
date with you. Well, he almost had a psychological
slash spiritual crisis when he realized that was true. But it
was too late. Now they had become attached
to him and were seeking him out and wanting to spend time with
him and wanting to come over to his apartment and wanting
to be around him. A minister, evangelist, or any
Christian should no more witness and minister to a homosexual
on a one-on-one basis than he should normally meet on one-on-one
with a woman who is burning in her desire to have sex with him
because the Bible says homosexuals are burning in their desire to
have sex with men. People who should minister to
homosexuals, I had a a woman doctor in Helsinki who
was in her seventies who was calling homosexual men to repentance. She and her husband. Senior couples
trained in evangelism and schooled in the depraved nature of homosexuals
are the best approach as long as they're not enablers. People
to whom the homosexual obviously would not and cannot be attracted, and vice versa. Senior couples,
I mean over 65. Love is only expressed in the
evangelistic relationship leading to repentance, not to permissiveness
and unscriptural feeling of empathy and understanding. The goal of
our ministry to homosexuals is not to create an environment
where they feel safe and loved. Because that's a big deal in
the church now. Let's create an environment where people feel
safe and loved. We do not want homosexuals to
feel safe and loved because they are involved in activities that
are under God's judgment and what they call love is depravity. We want to call them to repentance
and faith in Christ, resulting in their transformation into
heterosexual Christians. Evangelism to homosexuals should
be carried out in a gender-specific manner using gender-specific
translations of the Holy Scripture. Now, Hudson Taylor opened a new world
for American and European missions by making them culturally aware. Why allow cultural things to
be a block to the ministry? But we do not embrace the homosexual
culture to reach them because that's sin. Evangelism to homosexuals
should be done in a gender specific manner. using gender-specific
translations from the scripture. How can you expect a homosexual
to repent from the desire and actions of homosexuality when
you present the homosexual with a corrupted translation which
purposefully confuses gender roles? They are gender neutral or gender
negative. How can you fully expect a homosexual
to embrace his new heterosexuality when he's born again, when the
very copy of Holy Scriptures which you have given him to study
is corrupted or hides gender-specific roles? Now, here's this homosexual. We'll call him a former. is this former repentant homosexual who is now heterosexual how can he fully embrace is new heterosexuality when the
very copy of holy scriptures which you have given them to
study is corrupted and hides the very gender specific roles
that you want to transform as life. Get rid of your NIV. Get rid of your copy of The Message. Get rid of your RSV. Get rid of the New English Bible. Get rid of these gender neutral
translations. Embrace the English Standard,
the ESV, English Standard Version. Embrace the New American Standard
Bible. Embrace the New King James Bible. Embrace the King James Bible,
which holds to specific gender passages, so that they know how
to be a heterosexual. How can a lesbian, a female homosexual,
learn how to be a woman, a heterosexual woman, if the Bible you give
her to use hides the fact that some things are for men and some
things are for women. In the same way, evangelism to
homosexuals should be carried out in a gender-specific manner
by a church which honors and obeys the gender-specific roles
of home and church. How can you expect a homosexual
to repent of both desire and actions when the church does
not present him with an alternative? Women are in the roles of men.
Men are in the roles of women. How can you expect the repentant
homosexual to grow in his or her new gender role and fully
embrace his or her heterosexuality when the church does not offer
this alternative, but specifically in areas where women are not
to teach or exercise authority over men. Women are teaching
and exercising authority over men. Where gender appearance
is specifically taught, gender appearance is specifically ignored. Where the roles of the husband
in the home and wife are reversed. What are we offering them? How can there, there can be and
there must be total repentance and receiving Christ unto the
new birth before the now born again heterosexual can be admitted
to the church. From the very beginning, the
homosexual must understand that this is the goal, his rebirth
in Christ, resulting and returning to heterosexual desires, which
he laid aside. I was once, uh, ministering to
a drunkard and he used to tell me, you know, John, why don't
you know, if Jesus would only help me get back to the beginning
where I could just enjoy a beer or a mixed drink in the evening
with my wife and friends. And, you know, it was such, and
I say, no. No. You're going to repent and be
born again and never drink again. The goal is not to get drunk
with wine but it not control you. The ministry of the church
will be to the newly reborn heterosexual, not to the celibate homosexual.
though not acting on his depraved mind, is still burning in his
desire for men. Remember, such were some of you
doctrine. It is possible to no longer be
effeminate or homosexual. The homosexual has not repented
as long as he is blaming his condition on God, like Adam who
blamed God, the woman you gave me, The homosexual blames God,
the desires you gave me. The homosexual must confess his
choices in both desire and action and repent as 1 Corinthians 7
says, repent without regret. The church must face head on
the fact that the homosexual has not repented from the depraved
nature of his desires simply because at this time he's not
acting out on them. The problem that naive youth
ministers, church leaders, and church members face in seeking
to minister one-on-one homosexuals is the same that currently exists
in the same process in the heterosexual community when men minister to
women one-on-one and women minister to men one-on-one, that being
they're on a date. When I was a high school teacher
in Austin and involved in the Navigator ministry and one-on-one
ministry was really stressed, it was a hobby horse that people
pretty much told me to quit preaching that these married men cannot
meet with married women one-on-one or single women one-on-one to
disciple them. And sure enough, Sexual immorality
and divorce began to occur in those slices of the ministry
where this was practiced. You meet together, you buy coffee
or a soft drink, you share a meal or a snack, you relate intimately
over the word of God, you open yourself up as rarely if ever
you do. That's a date. That's what Eleanor
and I did when I was courting her. If this occurs between two
heterosexual males, it's a one-on-one ministry. If it occurs between
a heterosexual male and heterosexual female, it's a date. If it occurs
between a heterosexual male and a homosexual male, it may be
a ministry to the heterosexual, but the homosexual is on a date
and enjoying it. And, and you are creating expectations,
which you cannot morally fulfill. It is almost impossible for the
heterosexual man to comprehend the fact that when he meets one-on-one
with a homosexual male, that in the eyes of the homosexual,
they are on a date because this is repugnant to the heterosexual.
Same being true of the homosexual female meeting with a heterosexual
female. The homosexual is lusting, fantasizing,
and hoping the relationship will evolve into a homosexual encounter. The heterosexual may think that
they are administering, but they are on a date with a man who
is burning in his desire for them. The ministry to the homosexual
is exclusively evangelistic and it is done with total repentance
and a return to heterosexuality through new life in Christ as
the stated goal. The ministry takes place outside
the church or ministry fellowship activities. This ministry cannot
take place on a one-on-one basis. But all ministries must be organized
that the homosexual has no opportunity to expect anything but the gospel
and the call to repentance. May God add his blessing to his
holy work. In Christ's name we pray.

The homosexual movement is made up of people who made a decision in their relationship with God. God's response to this was to give them over. He gave them over to a depraved mind and they chose to do things which are not proper. The claim is made that homosexuals are born this way. Many Christians accept this idea. When do we accept the sinner's word and experience over God's Word? When is that okay? What if someone feels strongly about it or has reasons they have chosen or are involved in these behaviors?
