Sacrifice for Little Sins

As our series on the doctrine of sin continues, we turn now to what God says about those sins that we don't intend to commit. More than mistakes but less than stubborn rebellion. How does God view these sins? This is not God sweeping Israel's sins under a rug, this is the reality of sin brought home through blood on the altar – even for those sins that to us seem small or insignificant. Sins that are hardly worth mentioning, in our view, are enough to condemn us to an eternity of separation from God. God is holy and His people must be a holy people.
