How to Do a Word Study

Finding all the words which occur in a passage which use the same word, such as love, word, or light, and asking what does this verse teach me about my select word. Some verses may include more than one occurrence of your word. Some verses may teach a number of different things about your selected word. Some verses may teach truths about your word that are found in other verses.
