The Prayer of Jesus: Glorify Your Son

In the first part of His High Priestly Prayer, Jesus asks the Father to glorify Him in the giving of salvation. And so, because Christ has entrusted Himself to the Father in finishing His work so that God will be glorified in our salvation, we likewise must entrust ourselves fully to Him as we seek to glorify God for salvation in Christ.

I. Jesus prays that the Father would glorify Him in the giving of salvation vv 1-2
II. Jesus explains what Eternal Life is! It is a personal intimate knowledge of God v 3
III. Jesus rejoices in His finished work as He prepares to return to the Father's side! vv 4-5
