Reformation in 1Timothy (2): Depending upon Christ via Christ-Appointed Roles

Christ's prescription for bringing reformation of doctrine and practice to Ephesus emphasized the restoration of Christ-appointed roles. Depending upon Him to revive His church in His way is the context in which we will find 1Tim 3:8–13 and its instruction for recognizing those whom Christ Himself has called to be deacons in His church.
