There is advancing technologies, greater learning in the sciences, and earthly pleasures abound. However, in Psalm 117, the shortest chapter in the Bible, we hit the root of humanities problems—man-centered ideas of life. In this Psalm which is in the center of the Bible, the writer directs us to the heart of God and the height of joy.
