Repentance: God's Desire for Truth in the Inward Parts

Who desires to be happy? Do you know the path to true happiness comes from knowing God and walking in His pleasure? The world is striving for pleasure outside of the will of God. Because man is drinking down iniquity like water, sin is commonplace. Pain, hurt, broken relationships are everywhere. Worship is hollow. Possessions are gods. People are more unhappy, unsatisfied, and unthankful as ever. The answer to our problems are not as far out there as we think. Happiness is found in being rightly related to God. However, many people are walking landmines with unconfessed sin buried deep inside. On the surface everything seems to be going along just fine, but the heart can be filled with rebellion which leads to self-destruction and can cause hurt to others along the way. The world is in need of mercy- not getting what we deserve. We deserve hell. We deserve broken relationships. We deserve isolation. We deserve to be fill with fear of one another. We deserve to receive our sentence for sin today. However, there is a God who is merciful.
