Five, four, three, two, one. Just for women, listen to Mrs.
Waite speak from her heart to your knee. Pause a moment and
care. Just for Women is an unusual
broadcast for women in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation.
The bond rate deals biblically with the many issues facing women
today. The Bible tells the older women to speak the things which
become sound doctrine. Teach the young women to be sober,
to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet,
keepers of home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that God
be not blasphemous. Listen now to Mrs. Wade speaking
just for women. Oh girls, here we are again.
I wonder what you're doing today. I wonder if you're exhausted
from a vacation or if the children are getting on your nerves or
if you're just relaxing and enjoying yourself. I've had a very busy
few months. My husband you know is the pastor
of the Bible for the Day Baptist Church and we have a church right
here in our house. It's a big house, a big living
room. We took all our furniture out almost 8 years ago. In October it will be 8 years
and we have this church in our home and we can see just as many
as some small churches. I mean we are not a huge church
or anything or building but our house is pretty big. My husband
is a Bible teacher. He preaches verse by verse. He
teaches, he takes the Bible and he opens up the verse. Sometimes
you go to a church and the preacher will preach but he skips a lot
of verses and a lot of words and my husband tries to cover
them all. And he writes many things and one of his things
is defending the King James Bible. The reason he defends it is because
he believes that the text, the Greek text and Hebrew text from
which it was translated, that those are the very best original
languages. He is the president, it's been
28 years now, I'm going on 29, that he's been the president
of the Dean Burgon Society and they meet once a year. We just
had a meeting in Robbinsdale, Minnesota near Minneapolis, well
just a couple weeks ago before I did this program. and it was
a good meeting and their whole theme and goal is in defense
of traditional texts and they're interested in all languages that
are translated from these texts they call the Texas Receptive,
the Masoretic Hebrew text. I'm bringing this all up because
I want you to know that if you're not up on things, like I'm mostly
not up on things, you won't know what I'm talking about. But I
know now because we stream all of our church services. We stream
them live and then former church services are played 24-7 on the
biblefortoday.org www.biblefortoday.org It's easy to remember biblefortoday.org. My program is called Just for
Women but we are part of the Bible for Today Baptist Church.
Our ministry the Bible for Today is over 40 years old but our
church is only going on 8 years old. So anyhow you click on the
red bar there. You go to the biblefortoday.org
and you click on the red bar. and you can get a lot of interesting
streaming programs. So the Dean Burgon Society was
streamed and they're playing it over and over and I'm not
sure if they're still playing it over and over now that you're
hearing but you call us and first see we have very good teaching
on there even if it's not the Dean Burgon Society. But the
Dean Burgon Society has many different men that are part of
it. And then I'm part of the Dean
Burgon Women because I'm the president's wife. But I'll tell
you about that another time. I gave an interesting talk on
Gnosticism and I'm going to talk about that another time to you.
But now I want to tell you about one of our trips in June. You probably wonder what in the
world were you at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport
and why did you come back and forth and then land come back
to Philadelphia and take your Rapid Rover home? Well why? Why would you wait? We were in
Chesterton, Indiana and it's a couple hours from there. It
certainly wasn't to walk the vast concourses in the Mammoth
Airport there at O'Hare. I get really tired out. How about
you? It is huge there but full of
people and exhausting. It certainly wasn't to become
a part of the never-ending traffic or to view the Sears Tower although
that was interesting or to see one of the largest stone quarries
in the country. So that was very interesting
too. We've driven by there several times going back and forth to
from Chicago and I never saw those quarries before but I think
our driver took a wrong road and so we got to see something
very educational. Nor was it to drive by the Indiana
dunes once again. Oh, they're lovely. That's Lake
Michigan's Indiana dunes. They're real big and when you
stand by them, we're used to the dunes here and by the Atlantic
Ocean down at the shore here, but you know, whatever we call
our shore towns. Now my husband was in Indiana. Now
I know Chicago is in Illinois but we were driving to Indiana
to present the 10th King James Bible Seminary. as a college
module at Fairhaven Baptist Church and College in Chesterton, Indiana.
Now that streamed too and so every once in a while Dan Waite
who works for my husband he's an assistant and a very qualified
man and very smart in this computer business and streaming he said
anybody can do it but I don't see just anybody doing it. Anyway,
he'll probably play those Dean Burdine Society meetings and
he'll play those Fairhaven Baptist Church seminars over and over. That was our fourth time with
Pastor Roger Bookland, the senior pastor and founder of that ministry
and so we were very glad to be there. Now I'm reading from my
update and I told you already about this. Maybe you saw it.
I hope you get on that www.biblefortoday.org and click on the red bar. You
can also click on other bars and you can hear my radio programs,
they are all on there, and my husband's preaching. I think
you should get acquainted with the Bible for today, Baptist
Church and the Bible for Today Ministries. Now we are rebroadcasting
many things on our Bible for Today as I told you. Well, let's
see. I want to tell you about the
beautiful campus there at Fairhaven. It's located at 86 East Oak Hill
Road in Chesterton, Indiana. And it's absolutely lovely. Though
it is not as large as some of the huge Christian universities
you may be acquainted with, it is as beautiful, if not more
so. Not only are the buildings big
and beautiful, the church sanctuary is large and inviting, but the
campus is carpeted with green grass, lovely trees of every
kind, bushes of all hues, and flowers as well as lovely walkways. There was an artist design that
designed these bushes because they're just not plain bushes
stuck in the ground. There's a special design for
it all. It is all designed with an artful
eye and skillful hand. One cannot help but think of
God's creation and His mighty power when drinking in the beauty
of the place there at Fairhaven and the calm lake bordering their
grounds. People just come there to do
their daily walking and running. I was one of them, not running,
just walking. I loved walking the roads over
to the horses and the houses where many of the faculty lived.
If I ever could get that far, for sure I wouldn't get back.
I'm not the walker that I used to be. Now some of you know that
we were in Northern Ireland this past year now on video, not only
audio, but on video and you can get it or DVDs. One is the apostasy. These are
preached by my husband. One is the fundamentals that
battle Bible preservation and the other is why we use and defend
the King James Bible part one and two. Now call up 1-800-JOHN-10-9
and I can give you these free audio tapes but I can't send
you the other things free. But you call up, it's one's on
the apostasy, one's on fundamentalist death, battle Bible preservation. and why we use and defend the
King James Bible, part one and two. Now my husband based much
of this talking on Bob Jones University's errors on Bible
preservation. That's a book they wrote. And
another book that was written was Fleming and Oates' Deception
on Bible Preservation. My husband, as I told you, he's
a writer and he answers many of these King James Bible people
that don't like the text, the Greek text. You would be surprised
who they are. Now I really would like to be
able to tell you more things about what we do. If I had more
time I could elucidate but someone said one day you really don't
know who I am. And it's true. I don't know who
she was completely. I just know what she lets out.
And that's the way with you and me. We don't even ask the people
what we want them to know about us. And sometimes we are completely
misunderstood when we even say anything. So I have this one
tape called You Are Who You Are. And that's a... I spoke to a
group of women in South Jersey. And I'd like you to get that
too. Call 1-800-JOHN-10-9 and ask for You Are Who You Are.
It's tape 3271. I will send it to you free. But
you have to say which one you want because I forget what I
say sometimes on the radio. You never do that, do you? That
night I reviewed my years in my early life as a sick child
and how it made me who I am. What are your early experiences
that have made you who you are? I followed up with a Just For
Women talk called Who I Am, Who Am I, Who Are You? and you may
have heard that broadcast although I'm on different stations now
a lady told me the other day oh I heard you on the radio and
I said oh you did I said I'm not on that station anymore it
just got too expensive for me but I wondered where was she
when I needed her now We had another radio program when I
interviewed my daughter. There were two programs called
Drums, Distractions and Church Search. And my daughter is having
a very difficult time where she lives finding a good church. This seems to be a problem for
many Christians. Getting good music and good teaching
and the right Bible in one church has become a problem. A good
church seems to be extinct. since the purpose-driven philosophy
and the charismatic feel-good emphasis have been in vogue.
So, I just think you would prompt it a lot by that take. Now, Dr. Way has three radio programs
which air weekly. Two of them defend the King James
Bible and its underlying Greek texts and Aramaic texts, and
one is a five-minute daily one. One is a half-hour weekly, and
both of them are in defense of the traditional Bible texts.
He also has a one-hour weekly Bible for the Day Baptist Church
broadcast which airs his church sermons as well as Mr. Dick Carroll
at the piano. If you haven't heard Dick Carroll
play the piano, you've really missed something. Well, I think
I have to close. We're about ready to go to the
New York camp for a Bible conference, but I have to tell you about
that another time. I'm under God's care. Are you? We have been listening to Just
for Women with Yvonne Waite, sponsored by the Bible for Today
Baptist Church in Collingswood, New Jersey. We invite you to
visit our church Sundays at 10 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. and Thursdays
at 8 p.m. If you need more information
about our church, our broadcast, or our Savior, please call us
toll free 1-800-JOHN-10-9. The organist and pianist is Mr. Dick Carroll. The announcer is
Dr. B.A. Waite, pastor of the Bible
for Today Baptist Church. We invite all you ladies to join
us for our next broadcast heard twice weekly over the same station
and hear Yvonne wait and just for women.
