Clothed With the Character of Christ

Accusations of cheating … inappropriate tweeting … even charges of trying to lose … these are just some of the things which have marred this summer's London Olympic Games. Subsequently, one Olympic Official was quoted as saying: “We simply must hold Olympic Athletes to a higher standard.” Well, interestingly enough, those very same words could also be spoken of “Christian Athletes”, if you will! For you see, having already exhorted the Christians at Colosse to strive to be Heavenly Minded and also to be found faithfully Crucifying the Flesh, here in Colossians 3:12-14 the Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Paul gives still another Practical Exhortation to God's People, namely, to Clothe Themselves With the Character of Christ!
