Interpreting Edwards

On April 16, 2010 our Guest on TRUE BELIEVER will be Dr. Gary Crampton, Research Professor of Theology and Apologetic at Whitefield Theological Seminary. Dr. Crampton has written many books, such as, “By Scripture Alone,” “The Bible: God's Word,” “What the Puritans Taught: An Introduction to Puritan Theology” “Meet Jonathan Edwards: An Introduction to America's Greatest Theologian-Philosopher,” “He Shall Glorify Me,” “What Calvin Says,” “Study guide to the Westminster Confession,” “Paul: The Apostle of Creedal Theology,” “Reformed theology and the church,” “The millennium and New Testament theology,” “Biblical hermeneutics,” “Exclusive psalmody,” “Scripturalism of Gordon H. Clark,” and “The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.” Dr. Crampton was one of our first graduates to receive his doctorate from Whitefield Theological Seminary nearly 27 years ago. Dr. Crampton has been a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America, Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and the Reformed Presbyterian Church General Assembly. He is a gifted speaker and has traveled throughout the United States speaking at conferences and in various denominational churches. Considered a theological and apologetic scholar, Dr. Crampton will be speaking to us about his new book that is soon to be released, entitled: “Interpreting Edwards: An Overview and Analysis of John H. Gerstner's The Rational Biblical Theology of Jonathan Edwards.”
