Current events update. We're going to begin with prophecy. Israel at war. 821-24. Very prophetic. Day 320 according to my calculations. Still those same hostages being held. And Blinken, which I think is a funny name for, it sounds like one of Santa Claus's dear But Blinken leaves Middle East with Gaza ceasefire deal still elusive. That's a nice way of putting it. This is the independent out of the United Kingdom. Anthony Blinken warned time is of the essence to secure a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, whatever that means. Now, in a major achievement toward total victory over Hamas, this was the headline out of I-24 News, Hamas Rafa Brigade has been defeated. Gallant says the IDF troops fight like lions. He praised the 162nd Division for doing the deed there. But the war will not end until Jesus returns. And most of Israel lacks faith in government goal of absolute victory. And well, I think it's possible they could get absolute victory over Hamas. What they will not get absolute victory over is Islam. And Islam, fundamental Islam, those who really believe the Koran and what is it, WW, MD, what would Muhammad do? Those who follow that, it's destroy the Jews. The Jews and Christians either convert or die. That's their religion. So even as Iranian proxies continue to attack and end up in the north, massive Hezbollah rocket salvo fired at Israel. And so IDF strikes a former school that has been used by Hezbollah to launch these attacks. In the meantime, The names just kind of run together. These guys in Hamas and Hezbollah and Iran and all that. I mean, you know, there's very few names that stand out anyway. But the bodies continue to pile up. Here's an example of Palestinian terrorist Khalil al-Makda killed in IDF airstrike in Lebanon. And then this is the report on it, IDF strikes Hezbollah and Khalil al-Maktar was killed in Sidon is the name of the place where he was killed. Now at some point all of this will invoke a mass final attempt to destroy Israel. And a lot of fools here in America want to see that happen and a lot of them claim to be Christians. But we know the Bible teaches this will be the Magog War before or right after the rapture. Then I believe it will be the impetus behind the covenant that the Antichrist will reach between the global government and Israel. Then he'll break that seven-year covenant in the middle of the seven-year tribulation, in the midst of the week, as Daniel put it, and Israel will be out of the land one last time. So we talk about that numerous times. But this is just an example of different magazine covers that, not very many, but still a handful of prophecy teachers and ministries. The main, on the cover there, the main article is, Will Putin's Russia Implement Gog's Evil Plan Against Israel? That's the only question we really have. Is Putin and this government going to be the one? That's the question. Now just for review, I mention these and every once in a while someone can say, now where's that at? Ezekiel 38.3, and say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And we've given the reasons why we believe that's talking about Russia and Meshech, Moscow, Tubal, Tobolsk. And then in verse 4 says, And I will turn thee back and put hooks into thy jaws. Meaning that they're not going to come down excitedly because they want to, but God is going to put hooks in their jaw. He's going to make it so that they come down. And it says, and I, the Lord, I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses, and horsemen. Then jump down to verse 11. We don't have time to read the whole chapter. But look what it says, and thou shalt say, I will go up to the what? And over and over, I'm telling you, with very few exceptions, when the Bible talks about the land, it's talking about the land in Deuteronomy 11, 11, God says his eyes are upon it all the time. It's that land of Israel. And he goes on to describe it of unwalled villages. I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates. Now, people will point that and say, well, that can't be talking about Israel now because Israel's not dwelling safely. Yes, they are. They're under attack, under missile attack and everything, but they're dwelling safely. There's not any armies in their gates. There's no armies inside the borders of Israel. And so that doesn't, but here, why? He says he's going to put hooks in their jaws and they're going to come down to the land. Why? Verse 12 says, to take a spoil and to take a prey. It'll be economic collapse and ruin and military, actually the military will suffer, I believe, leading up to this too, to come down on Israel. They're coming down for economic reasons mainly. To take a spoil and to take a prey. And then the rest of the verse says, to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited. Now, what's that mean? We've told you over and over, prophetically the Bible talks about Israel being desolate after Babylon. They were desolate again after Rome came down in 70 AD, but in the last days it is now inhabited. That's what's supposed to stand out to you. It's only been in the last 100, let's see, 1880. So about 140 years that the Jews even started trickling back into the land. Then since 1948, it's been an explosion of activity in Israel, but there's still a lot of desert, a lot. You go over there, you'll still see a lot of rocks, a lot of dirt. And you'll see some impressive things, but it's nowhere near what it's going to be after Jesus returns. But what's it say in the rest of verse 12? And upon the people that are gathered out of the nations. Again, for 2,000 years, up until 1948 really, that was something that people said, that can't be true. They're not back in their land. And fundamental Bible-believing Christians were saying, ah, but they will be. And guess what happened? They are. And you know what? All those naysayers, they weren't impressed at all with the fact that our Bible tells them what's about to happen. Why? They know it tells them that. Anyone with any reasoning capabilities would be impressed by that. But Jesus said, there's a reason why. because their deeds were evil. John 3, 19, they love their sin. It's not intellectual. They don't reject Jesus in the Bible because there's no reason to intellectually. They love sin. Again, verse 12 ends by saying, which have gotten cattle and goods that dwell in the midst of the land. If you don't know that that's true, go look up Israel and cowboys. There's cattle over there. and goods, meaning it's as prosperous as it has been for 2,000 years. It's an amazing fulfillment of prophecy. Then in verse 15, just one more thing. And thou, talking about Gog, shalt come from thy place out of the north parts. thou and many people with thee. I had a guy tell me one time, you're teaching false teaching on that. They come from the north and if you look at Israel and you go up north, it's Turkey. I said, go a little further. Go past Turkey, which is Targarmah. Go past Turkey and you'll see Rosh, the land of Gog, Meshach and Tobosk. And if you look on that map, it's a whole swath out of the north parts, not just straight up, a whole swath of the north up there. Thou and many people with thee, because he's going to bring an Islamic confederation with him. Now, I mentioned it would be a hook in the jaws for a prey. It's an economic reason. Right now the stage could potentially be being set. Here's an example. Switzerland says to join further EU sanctions against Russia. In addition to the sanctions that the United States and others have on Russia, Russia sees decades of Western economic sanctions ahead, an official says. This is all setting the stage for Russia because not only are they facing things from outside of Russia that's going to cause them economic problems, Russians are spending big on travel on cognac, which is cognac, which is booze. But the boom is just one last growth spurt, says analysts. Here's the words economic growth could have. in the coming rest of the year. The good times are unlikely to last. Economists polled by Bloomberg expect growth to slow to about 2% over the second half of the year. The current boom is a last growth spurt before Russia's economy starts to markedly cool. Well, that with sanctions, and then God's gonna do something else. We don't know exactly what, at least I haven't seen scripture, it lay it out clearly to me, maybe somebody here does, but something's gonna happen in addition to what I just showed you, and it's gonna be a hook in the jaws and bring them from the north parts down on Israel. And it's about to happen, we just don't know when. Regardless, we stand with Israel, amen? Now, let's politics for a moment. Number two, controlled media. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, LA Times, Time, et cetera. They are all Democrat Party operatives pretending to be journalists. What I just told you isn't political. It is a fact. It's a matter of culture, it's a matter of immorality and ethics, and it's a matter for you as a believer because they're all antichrists. They hate Jesus Christ. They hate the Bible. They hate the church of Jesus Christ. They love killing babies. They love Sodom and Gomorrah. They love mutilating and chemically and physically castrating your children. They want to confiscate your guns. They want wall-to-wall Marxist socialism, which is Satanism. So it's not an opinion. It is fact. Here's an example. This was by a media research center. The coverage of the Marxist bimbo Kamila Harris, Comrade Kamala is what they're calling her? 84% positive. That's not news. That's propaganda, folks. I don't care who that is. I don't care. If they did that with my favorite candidate, I would be telling you, that ain't right. 84% positive coverage and then her opponent is 89% negative. Folks, that's Soviet Russia propaganda right there. Even the Soviets probably had more balance than that. It is disgusting. It is incredibly offensive. In the United States of America where we're supposed to have a free press, that's not free press. They call it the Mockingbird News Media because it's controlled by the deep state and the CIA. Their word for the day, I believe it was yesterday, Remember last week it was momentum I showed you and then Sunday I showed you joy, you know. They get their marching orders and like bleh. They just repeat what they're told to say, bleh. It's like I don't want to just sound like a sheep because they are sheep vomiting, bleh, you know. The word of the day, electric. It was though someone had plugged in a cable, a current was connected, and there was pure electricity in the room. Thank you for sharing with us some of the electricity. The energy is incredibly electric. You know, it was just electric. Sort of electric, because I've never seen it. It was absolutely electric. Talk to me about the atmosphere in here. Is it electric? Excitement, it is electric. Senator Schumer wasn't lying when he was saying that there's a lot of electricity and excitement right now. So it's incredibly electric? It's electric. Something just got uncorked. Room in Chicago, quite electric tonight. Last night was electric. It'll be electric. Electrifying. Electrification. There is electricity in this room, there is energy in this room, and there is enthusiasm in this room. A lot of electricity and energy in this hall across this country that you've never seen. Not even with Barack Obama in 2008? I think this rivals Barack Obama in 2008. Okay. It's an Orwellian cult, and it now controls American culture. All the dumb, stupid sheep buying, what's her name, the Twit, Swift, whatever her name is. Twit Swift, what is her name? What's the first name? Taylor. Taylor Swift. If you love music, you wouldn't buy her crap. It has nothing to do with music. It's brainwashing. You turn it on and they're saying, this is what's popular. This is what you need to listen to. This is what all the cool kids are listening to. You're so cool. You listen to Taylor Swift. Like stupid idiots, they go out and buy that garbage where she sings about all of her bad relationships. Who wants to hear that garbage? brain dead people, that's who. And I don't care if it's somebody in this room or out there, you are being an idiot. If you follow the culture today and just buy into everything, they vomit onto your plate and tell you to slop up like a pig. That's where we're at. I'm ashamed of being an American. That's why I don't, I just don't like that, I don't like the songs that they play at those MAGA rallies. I don't like the YMCA gay theme they play all the time and all that, but I don't even like, I love the song. I think Lee Greenwood's song's a great song, but I'm not proud to be an American right now. I'm proud of certain things about our American country and our past and everything, but right now I'm not proud to be American. I'm ashamed. And if you're not ashamed, you're not paying attention. America is spitting in God's face. We got rid of Roe v. Wade. Guess what all the stupid Americans did in the United States of America, across the country, and in Ohio? Said, let's kill the babies anyway. Disgusting swine. Shame on America. I'm going to parody that. I'm ashamed to be an American. Compare this mainstream media headline here. Government. US economy added 818,000 fewer jobs than first reported. You don't just miss that. That's just not somebody just hit the wrong button on the calculator kind of thing. Almost, you know, you're talking about more than three quarter of a million jobs. 818,000 fewer jobs. Now this is 818,000. What'd I say, 100,000? 818,000. English is my second language. Now compare that to this headline from what we would call the right. Now anyone conservative by the Orwellian cult, you're far right now. Ronald Reagan, far right. Anybody who used to be called conservative is now far right. That tells you who's in charge. That's how the Marxists play the game. But look at this, this is the real headline. 818,000 jobs that Joe and Kamala claimed to have created aren't actually there. It's the largest downward revision to employment in 15 years. They lied. Again. And I've told you for years, liberals lie. It's what they do. But this is the press going along with it. If you had a real news media, they would have been on this before today. And they've been saying, wait a minute now, from our look at the statistics. But they don't even bother to look at the statistics anymore. They just get their piece of paper to read and bleh. You know, that's how they do it. They say electric. Electric. Momentum. Joy. And if you knowingly participate in it, then who is the real fool? We can't change the godless people out there, but what's a shame is how many professing Christians continue to rely on liars for the answers. Turn it off! And finally, I have to say one last thing on religion. Number three, John MacArthur And we do not promote his teaching, he uses the corrupt Bibles, he teaches five points Calvinism, he denies the blood of Jesus, and among other things. Teaches that the millennial sacrifices are metaphoric and not really gonna happen, all kinds of nonsense he teaches. But he's coming to the end of decades of pastoral ministry. And we give him credit when he's been on like Larry King and CNN back when they used to actually have news and they would ask him, they'd ask other people like Joel Osteen, Billy Graham, there's a guy named Dave Wilkerson that put out the prayer of Jabez and all that. Is Jesus the only way to heaven? If I don't get saved, am I going to hell? None of them would answer. They denied the truth. And to his credit, John MacArthur, another one, like Franklin Graham's another one, they just quoted Jesus. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. The apostle Peter said in Acts 4.12, neither is there salvation in any other, for there's none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. If you're not saved through Jesus, you're not saved. And if you're not saved, there's only one alternative, and that's hell. And it has nothing to do with hate or love, except for the fact that I love you enough to tell you the truth. But I'm not going to lie to you about it, but they do. And to his credit, he didn't lie. But he's had a heart condition, and now he's had to have a valve replacement. He's like 85 years old, and he's in bad health. So for several weeks, he'd kind of been gone. They weren't sure if he's ever going to recuperate. He did come out and make an appearance at his master's seminary. It's the first public appearance since July 15 when he had his surgery. So after a heart valve replacement, A slow recovery, still in declining health. They're pumping fluids out of his body from around his lungs and stuff. Think about this. This is his focus as his life possibly is coming to an end. This is his focus. The other thing I know about you is you haven't been inactive either. Though recovering, you're always busy with things. So talk a little bit about what you've been working on. Most people would just lay there and cry. If it was me, I would lay and cry. But you've had a productive time, even in your recovery. So talk a little bit about some of the projects you're working on. We want to do a series on the five points of Calvinism. That would be a real tight and sort of classic preaching of those five doctrines. That would pull it all together. So I've been going through those five little booklets of say 80 or 90 pages, and we'll roll out one at a time over a period of six months or so. And when all five are done, we'll have a little box. And you can box them up. And it's kind of along the line of classic MacArthur preaching on the doctrines of grace. So that's a category to which we can add in the future. So I've been working on that. I mean, just picture a guy on his deathbed. What's your last words? No one can believe because you're totally unable. You have to be unconditionally elected. And Jesus didn't die for you unless you're elect. It's a limited atonement. But if God's going to save you, it's irresistible. So don't try to fight it. And if you're truly saved, you'll persevere to the end. But you don't know if you're really saved unless you persevere to the end. I mean, think about that. This guy's practically on his deathbed and what's he focused on? What's he working on? The Calvinist, it's a, folks, that's what I'm telling you. It's cultic at best. It's a replacement for biblical Christianity. Now we don't call it a cult without qualification because there at least is a statement of faith that they believe and preach the gospel and they do believe you must be born again. So they preach the gospel because they believe that God might use them to reach the elect. That's their motivation. It's not that they preach the gospel thinking anyone could be saved. It's that, I'm going to preach the gospel because there might be somebody back there that is elect, and they'll hear it and get saved. Now, I have the privilege of being the one God used to reach them. That's their motivation. You won't find anything like that in Scripture, but that's what they do. So we don't call it a cult. They believe in the Trinity. They believe in the deity of Christ, and they do preach the gospel. It's once you get saved, if you let them teach you their doctrine, You go way out there. Now, I responded below the video by saying this. Nothing but prayers for his health and well-being. We don't wish him any evil. But incredibly sad to see his cultic commitment to Calvin and Tulip. In my dying days, my commitment will be to Jesus Christ and His Word as it is and should be at all times. So, That tells you why even among preachers that remain true to some extent to the gospel and such, that's what's killing the churches. There's this nonsense, just total nonsense going on among the big time ministers on just about every level. It's just amazing. But you know what, folks? You know, it may sound a little, current events update, there is a bit of a negativity to a lot of what we're saying because that's the time in which we live. You know, but it is also, remind you, if you believe the Bible, then you know that's what's supposed to be happening. We're in the end times. There's a great falling away. And even the guys who are somewhat Christian, they're still so off that it is what we should expect in the last days, right before we hear that trumpet and the voice of the archangel. Yeah, Nancy, hold that book up. She's got the book. I just finished that one, Shepherds for Sale. Believe it or not, she's actually kind of a MacArthur follower. And yet, she's pointing out that so many of the big time ministries, and I mentioned a few of them last week, focus on the family, the Southern Baptist Convention, and others are being bought out by George Soros and these left-wingers, Rockefeller and all of them. So that story on Russia potentially starting to go into economic trouble, because it didn't give a whole lot of It didn't really give any details on that. I wanted to say that Putin, because I've heard different things over the years, but recently Putin met with that Arab guy. I believe it's going to be through the agreements because they need oil and they need stuff like that. And so they'll be making these agreements. That'll be what the whole thing is. So what you understand what she's talking about, if you go back and study, how did World War I happen? that will be the same type of scenario that would get the Gog Magog thing going. That would be the hook because they have to agree to do this, that, and the other thing to get that oil. Doug? They tell me, a lot of these people will say that at work, are telling me, well the people over there in Israel are not the true Jews. And they'll use that. What do you say back? Prove it. Prove it. That's what you say to them. Prove it. Watch them squirm, because they can't prove that. Again, just like all this other stuff, it's not motivated by any actual intellectual information. It's right here. So you say, well, OK, they're not the Jews. Prove it. They can't. And a lot of times, all they'll do is refer you to whoever they got that from, like if it's one of the Armstrong cults with their British Israelism or the Black Hebrew cult or the whatever YouTube heretic that they're watching or whatever. By the way, I think I've already been kind of working on this thing. I was going to show through Scripture that from Adam to Jesus Christ, not just through the genealogies, but showing that there's a connection all the way from Genesis, I believe it was 14, Abram the Hebrew. And then all the way through, it's a connection. Hebrews, Israelites, Jews. Those are all interchangeable names for the same people. And that's where a lot of these guys play games with that.
