A Heart of Gratitude

In our text this morning, Paul expresses his gratitude for the Thessalonians' faithfulness and he encouraged them to further perseverance in the faith. Salvation and rewards come only through God's grace, based on the righteousness of Christ. At the same time our subsequent living through the power of Holy Spirit conforms us to holiness, and confirms the genuineness of our union with Christ.
