The Death of Pro-Life

This sermon shows how the principle of leaven works for evil. A lie or two inserted into a church or organization will spread and spread until everything is thoroughly corrupted -- unless something is done to remove the leaven. This is the sad tale of the Pro-life movement, which has lost its way. Starting out from a right position that life begins at conception, and that abortion is therefore murder, the Pro-life has sold its birthright and succumbed to the pernicious leaven that abortion should be regulated like healthcare, that legislation that protects some babies and not others is just fine, and that the women who murder their babies are second victims. The church must repent of supporting such egregious compromises. This is not about politics. This is about loving our unborn neighbors as ourselves, and defending the weakest and most helpless members of society.
