día de hoy. De nuevo, lo que estamos estudiando

they were being enslaved, many of them were being killed, they
lost the promised land for many years. But the Lord always remained
faithful to them. So what we study is real. This
is not a story or a story, it is the truth of God and we hope
that this will happen. And we pray when we pray, come
to us your kingdom. when we pray, we are including
this in our prayer, asking the Lord to fulfill His purpose at
the end of times. Let's go to Revelation 6, verses
12 to 17. Today, if God wills it, we will
finish chapter 6. I saw when He opened the sixth
seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun
became black as silica cloth, and the moon became all as blood.
Ayúdanos a entenderlo y a guardar
en nuestro corazón esta verdad. and continue to prepare us for
your coming, Lord. Help us today, Lord, with this
text. In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask this of you. Amen. Amen. Juan has been describing in the
previous verses how the lamb opens the first five seals, in
verses 1 to 11. With the first four seals, the
Lord allows the forces of the Antichrist, those are the four
horsemen, of the Apocalypse. These forces
bring first an apparent peace on earth, the first seal. Then
it sends war and destruction, the second seal. Then comes hunger
and scarcity, the third seal. And then in the fourth seal,
the fourth rider brings pestilence and death. y vimos que muere
Then we come to the fifth
seal, where there is a pause in the tragedies. And the fifth
seal describes the souls of the martyrs who are under the altar
of gold or the altar of incense, which is a sample of what we
learn in the study of the tabernacle. The tabernacle presents us with
what is in heaven. And they are claiming, asking
the Lord, until when are you going to avenge our death? in

When studying the sixth seal, it says that the stars fall,
that the sky fades away. We have to ask a question when
facing this text. How do we interpret it? Is he
speaking figuratively? Or is he speaking in a literal
way? The prophet John, here, in what
he is speaking. And in Matthew 24, the Lord Jesus
Christ speaks, makes a description very similar to what Juan is
saying there. We are not going to go to Timothy right now. And
the question is, how do we interpret it and when do these events happen?
Okay, the way we are going to interpret it is literally. It
is said that the stars fall, it is because the stars fall.
Right now we are going to see the Greek to understand what
this means. Or that if the sky is like this, what is happening?
We can't go ahead and symbolize something when the way everything
is described is literal. And when does this happen? Is
it at the end of the Great Tribulation? Or is it immediately after the
intermediate of the fifth seal? The fifth seal is what we saw
of the martyrs. Matthew 24, 29, Jesus describes a similar event,
as I said a second ago, of the Great Tribulation. But we have
to see that this is the sixth seal that we are seeing. How
many seals are there? Seven. And in the seventh seal,
when the seventh seal is opened, there are seven trumpets. And when the trumpets are played,
in the last trumpet, there are seven cups of anger. So there are still many events
to go, and we cannot say that this is the end. That Jesus is
talking to us here, in what John reveals to him, something that
is out of chronological order, is not in order. The text tells
us, what follows later tells us. So we have to look, then,
what is happening here. The conclusion, a conclusion
that we can draw easily, is that what he is describing here is
a shadow, or a projection, a sample of what comes later. Right now
we are going to see why. What Jesus describes in Matthew
is the end of the Great Tribulation, just before his return to earth.
And what John describes here is not the end yet. It is only
the beginning of the end of times. What I am going to read is happening
during the first three and a half years of the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation lasts seven
years. The Great Tribulation is known as the Last Week of
Daniel, or the Great Tribulation, or the Day of the Lord, the Great
Day of the Lord. And when I refer to the Last
Week of Daniel, half of the Last Week of Daniel is three and a
half years. That week refers to seven years.
And the first thing Juan sees with the opening of this seal,
of this sixth seal, is that there was a great earthquake, is what
it says there. In Greek, it is said seismos
megas, and a transliteration, that is, to take those words
and put them almost without changing, would be a mega seism, a seism,
a seismic movement, that's where it originates, a mega seism,
and this is very common in the language that the prophets use
in the Old Testament. when it refers to God's judgment
on earth. And a more appropriate translation
of a great earthquake would be great convulsions. The reason
is this, because when we read the text, not only is the earth
shaken, but it says that the sky is shaken. So it's talking
more than an earthquake, it's talking about a catastrophic
event on earth and also in the sky. And Jesus describes these
events in his Discourse of the Mount of Olives, there in Matthew
24, 7. Matthew 24 and the Apocalypse
have a lot in common, and also Daniel, in chapter 9. So, Matthew
24, verse 7, the Lord says, Why shall nation rise against nation?
We already saw that part, kingdom against kingdom. There will be
plagues, we already saw it, famines too, and he says, and earthquakes
in different places. It's like what Juan is describing
in the book of Apocalypse. And this happens before the desolating
abomination of verse 15 of Matthew 24, which is in the first half
of Daniel's last week, where these events are happening. So, what Juan is describing with
this sixth seal is only the beginning of birth pains, as Jesus Christ
described it in Matthew 24, chapter 8, talking about the suffering
that comes, nothing more than the beginning of pain. And Juan
says, going back to the Apocalypse, and the sun turned black like
a silica cloth. It is common to find this type
of description Again, in the apocalyptic prophecies, in the
Old Testament, like in Isaiah 13.10. Let's go to Isaiah 13.10
to see what these prophets said about the Lord's Day. Isaiah 13.10. It says like
this, So the stars of the heavens and their lights will not give
their light. And here comes the sun, and the sun will darken at birth, and the moon will not give its
radiance. Joel 2.10, one of the minor prophets,
also speaks of the Lord's Day and gives a very similar description. If he goes forward, after Daniel,
the minor prophets begin.
And this darkness of the sun,
that Juan is describing, is described as a silica fabric. Silica was
a rough fabric that was used to make bags or bags where they
carried fruits or objects. And they did that with goat hair.
But it's the pigs... Pigs have very rough hair. And that's what
they put on in the Old Testament, en señal de luto, en señal de
lamento.
And Juan says that the moon turned
into blood. And the redness of the moon is
another description, as we saw in the scriptures I read in the
Old Testament, where the prophets use this language to refer to
God's judgment on earth. So what Juan is talking about
is the coming of God's judgment on earth. In the darkness of
the sun, in the redness of the moon, the moon may be an eclipse. and the sun may be like an eclipse,
but the way he describes it, these are events that haven't
happened yet. In verse 13, going back to Revelation
6, it says, The stars in the sky fell on the earth, as the
eagle lets its children fall when shaken by a strong wind.
And the question is, what can arise here? The stars. Where
did they fall? On the earth. But the closest star we have
is the Sun. The Sun is I don't know how many
times bigger than the Earth. How could it fall on Earth? So
we have to look at the word in Greek for stars, which Juan is
using, asteris. And its meaning is very broad.
It can refer to stars, as it can refer to meteorites as well. There are meteorites and meteoroids. There are different sizes. in
those rocks that fall from space, which are generally metallic. So, surely he is referring to
meteorites and comets. Some meteorites are fragments
of comets that pass near the Earth. So, Juan can't be referring
to the stars, because they are still in their place when the
fourth trumpet is played, and there's more to go until we get
there. But what happens, what he is
saying, is so extraordinary. What is happening is so phenomenal,
that from the perspective of a man here on Earth, seeing this
event is like seeing almost as if the sky is falling on us.
That is the way Juan is giving us to understand with the description
he gives. Nowadays, if we know that there
is a rain of meteorites, what do we do? We go to the mountains,
we go to a place where there is no light because we want to
see it as a show, to be able to see that. But then it will
not be a show, because these meteorites will not be passing
near the Earth, they will be falling on the Earth. I was looking,
looking for the impact that a meteorite can make. I found that if a meteorite
of 10 kilometers hits the Earth, the impact unleashes the force
of what is an atomic bomb, like the ones that were dropped in
Nagasaki, in Hiroshima, in Japan, in the Second World War. Just
one. And what Juan is describing here
is that it is a rain of meteorites. He says that the stars in the
sky fell on the earth, like the fig tree drops its figs when
shaken by a strong wind. The fig tree, when shaken, drops
all its fruit. That's what it's referring to.
I think that a crater of a meteorite can be up to one mile. de diámetro o más, depende.
And it's
not the size they are showing there to scare people. They are
other sizes and they are more. Yes, they are more. And the Earth
is not going to be destroyed with these that are going to
fall. It's going to be very affected, a lot. Surely, yes. Because they are going to hit
a lot on Earth. Lucas describes something similar.
In Lucas 21.11, look at what it says. Lucas 21-11. There will be great earthquakes and in different
places hunger and pestilence. This is very important, what
he describes here. And there will be terror and
great signs from heaven. People will be terrified. People will be in anguish like
never before. The terror, the horror that the
inhabitants of the Earth will feel is something unique because
the events of the apocalypse have never happened on Earth.
There are stories out there that the Earth was hit by a meteorite
billions and billions of years ago. It's just a story because
there is no proof of that. And that the cloud that created
covered the Earth and changed the climate and the animals died.
They forgot to check the evidence of the flood. God was the one
who killed the billions of people on earth in the book of Genesis.
And God was the one who changed the earth. What we have of the
earth are the remains of the earth. This earth doesn't look
like the one God created before the flood. It's a very different
earth. It's an earth that has been cursed since the sin of
Adam and Eve. And eventually it will come to
an end. And that's what the scripture
is telling us here. It's so severe, what's happening, in what Juan
is describing, that he compares it. And this verse can literally
be translated as, the sky was split in parts, like a scroll
is rolled up, like the sky was broken. Isaiah 34, verses 1 to
6, prophesies about the anger of the Lord against the nations,
and uses a language very similar to the one that John is using
in the Apocalypse. Look, Isaiah 34, verses 1 to
6, as it does not see on this one
calls for you it was so close when this is which are we going

Jehová tiene sacrificios en Borsa, Bosra, and great slaughter in
the land of Edom. Those who are studying the tabernacle
understand part of the language there, which has to do with sacrifices. But what Isaiah is talking about
is the wrath of the Lord, the anger of the Lord over the inhabitants
of the land and its manifestation, which was prophesied hundreds
of years before the Lord Jesus Christ came. And there is the
magnitude of what will be happening that from the earth, this is
how they will see it. But it is not the final destruction
of the heavens, because the total destruction of the heavens happens
in chapter 20 of the Apocalypse. It is later. Psalm 102, we read
it today, verses 25 and 26, speaks of the future of the heavens. Look. We read it when opening
the message. Psalm 102, verses 25 and 26 says, Desde el principio tú fundaste
It has
to change. The sky and the earth that exist,
that happens. Later on, we will see it in the
apocalypse. And when this event is happening here, it is so horrible,
it is so horrible what is happening, that people will have the impression
that the universe is falling apart. And it says, Juan, continuing
in verse 14, and all the mountains and all the islands were removed
from their place.
I imagine that if
a meteorite hits the water, the sea, and it's a good size, it's
going to make huge waves. We've already seen what a tsunami
can do, and it has nothing to do with a meteorite, only with
an earthquake. Here it says that the earthquake
is going to be a mega-earthquake, so what I'm describing, brothers,
is true. We have seen small samples of
what can happen, and what will happen there is in a magnitude
that has never been seen before. It says, every mountain and every
island moved from their place. Here Juan changes from the sky
and begins to describe what happens on earth. And this connects us
to the great earthquake that he mentions at the beginning,
the opening of the sixth seal. The crust of the earth, that
is, what can be seen from the earth, is so seriously affected
by this earthquake that many islands will disappear from the
face of the earth and many mountains will be transformed in this process. It is possible that there will
be volcanic eruptions through the seismic movement that will
occur on the earth and there will be a lot of change in the
geography of the earth.
poderosos. Our five categories of people
who have more influence, more power, more money. In one of
the previous signs, we saw that in times of hunger, there were
still rich people who could buy that kind of food. There were
parts of the earth that had not been affected here. But with
this event, no one is going to escape being affected. Everyone
is going to be terrorized. Everyone, without exception.
The impact of what happens with the earthquake, the sun, the
moon, the stars, the sky, the mountains and the islands is
catastrophic. And this time, the effect is
not on a part of humanity, as in the time of hunger and scarcity,
where the rich can still buy, this time everything will be
achieved. All social strata, all people
of authority, all magnates, millionaires, military chiefs, all the poor,
all the slaves, all the free, there is no distinction. en cuanto
There is so much
terror in people that they will run to hide, they will look for
caves and they will look for shelters. And do you know that
there are people who are already afraid of this? And they are
already building places, according to them, where they can resist
what is going to come upon the earth. But they have no idea
of what is coming upon the earth. They have no idea. because they are calculating
according to what man already knows, according to what man
has experienced in the catastrophes of the Earth. But nothing we
have experienced is similar to what Juan is describing in the
Apocalypse. It's like when in a region you
are being hit by a hurricane. I have not been in a hurricane,
I have been in storms, but not in a hurricane. But what I've
seen in videos, in the news, gives the impression of those
who are suffering that moment, that event, as if the sky was
falling on them. That's the impression I get when
I read the news about what's happening, what they feel. That's
what Juan is expressing. It's like the sky is falling
all over the earth and everything is ending here. That's the impression
he has. So, what we know now as storms
and hurricanes, compared to what Juan is describing, is like a
drizzle in the morning, compared to what Juan is saying here.
There is no comparison in reality. Usually, when strong earthquakes
occur, it is when people, They believe there is a God.
They believe there is a Creator. They believe there is one who
dominates and governs and has control over the whole universe.
And they bend and cry and scream. And they see that death is near
and they start to cry and repent. They are filled with fear. But the earthquake that Juan
is describing is not similar to what has happened in the history
of humanity. And the text tells us, for a
recognition that they make in the end, The meteor shower is
a spectacle now, and if it's possible, we're going to see
them. But as I said before, a 10-kilometer-diameter
meteor that hits the Earth releases energy like an atomic bomb. What Juan describes is a meteor
shower falling on Earth. He doesn't say what size, but
it's a meteor shower. It's a combination of catastrophes,
of the earthquake, what happens with the stars, with the sun,
with the moon, what is happening with the mountains, what is happening
with the islands, and obviously what is happening in the sea,
because the islands have to do with the sea. Everything at that
moment is happening at the same time. And everyone on Earth, of all
kinds of social classes, will be terrified.
tenga que ver con el cristianismo The clamor and anguish they live
in leads them to call to the mountains and to the plains. They will take refuge in the
mountains and they will prefer that those mountains bury them
before having to see the face of God and confront the wrath
of the Lamb. Such is their agony that they
prefer to be buried before meeting the Lord. And there are three
times where the same is prophesied in relation to the time of anguish
for the people of Israel. Let us not lose sight. In the
time of the great tribulation, the last week of Daniel, God
is dealing with the people of Israel. The reason for the judgment,
for what God brings upon the earth, will call the Israelites
to repentance, and that nation will be saved. Those who believe
in the Lord, the majority, will be saved in the time of the great
tribulation. Everything in the history of
humanity revolves around those who are of the Lord. Those who
are of the Lord, those who belong to Him, are the most undervalued
by the earth, by humanity, but not by God. And the whole history
of humanity revolves around the people of God. When you read
the whole history in the Old Testament, it has to do with
Israel. When you read history, one of
the great wars in the world has to do with Israel, like the Second
World War, for example. When you see the tense situation
in the world today, it has to do with Israel. Everyone is waiting
to see what happens to Israel. That's when everything is decided,
because that's the people of God. And these catastrophes are
happening because God brings justice to the earth, but He's
dealing with His people and He's saving them. Now, those who do
not have Christ will cry out for the mountains to bury them.
They will be distressed, they will be terrified, they will
be confused, they will not know what to do. But those who are
there, who are of the Lord, will declare, as the Psalm 91 declares,
the one who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will dwell under
the shadow of the Omnipotent. I will say to Jehovah, my hope
and my castle, my God in whom I will trust.
Caerán a tu lado mil y diez mil a tu diestra, mas a ti no llegarán.
Yo no creo. They will say, as
Paul says, for me, living is Christ, and dying is gain. Let's
not lose sight of the fact that there is always a remnant in
all of the history of humanity. And the Lord is always glorified. And these people claim to be
covered in their agony by the wrath of the Lamb. ¿Es necesario
que sean engañados con una paz falsa? ¿Es necesario que se desate
guerra sobre la tierra? ¿Haya mucha muerte y violencia?
And it is even the sixth seal
when they recognize that it is the wrath of the Lamb that has
come against them. Isaiah 2.10. We are going to
look at these prophecies that speak to us in relation to the
time of anguish that comes upon the earth. Verse 11. The pride of man's eyes will
be cast down, and the pride of men will be humiliated, and Jehovah
alone will be exalted on that day. That is the ultimate purpose
of the suffering that comes upon the earth, which is that the
Lord will be exalted. This is how it is in everything
that God does. Verse 19. Pues el resplandor es su majestad
cuando se levante para castigar la tierra. Oseas, 10.8. Miren
el libro de Oseas. Avance allí y pasa a todos los
profetas mayores y llega a Oseas. Está después de Daniel. Oseas,
10.8. Los lugares altos de Aven serán
destruidos. El pecado de Israel crecerá sobre
sus altares, Espino y Cardo. Y dirán a los montes, cubridnos
y a los collados caed sobre nosotros. Isaías, Oseas, profetizan lo
mismo. Y miren lo que dice Lucas en
el Nuevo Testamento, Lucas 23, 30. Entonces comenzarán a decir a
1.7. He is here who comes with the
clouds, speaking of the coming of the Lord, and everyone will
see him, and those who have transgressed him, and all the nations of the
earth will do what? Lamentation for him. Only those
who love the Lord and obey his gospel will be happy with the
coming of the Lord, of the time of judgment on earth, but not
those who do not love him. The greatest fear that the inconverses
But the one who is in Christ fears the Lord out of
reverence, because he loves him. The one who is not in Christ
fears the Lord, because he knows what judgment is coming on him. And that's why they shout, hide
us from the face of God, and specifically they say, hide us from the wrath
of the Lamb. That's why I have a problem in
saying that Jesus is my friend. Because what the text shows me
is someone very different than a friend. Very, very different.
fuerza. So the Lord Jesus Christ is strong, is powerful. The Lord
Jesus Christ is the perfect example of what a man is. The Lord Jesus Christ never turned
his back on his enemies. On the contrary, he voluntarily
went to die on the cross of Calvary, lean as a lamb, obedient to the
Father until the death and the death of the cross. But he was
already exalted by the Lord to the utmost. We're almost done. Because the
great day of their wrath has come, and who will be able to
stand up? Interesting. The level of understanding
of humanity about who is doing all this. They understand very
well, of course, who is against them. And they recognize the
precariousness of their situation. They themselves declare, ¿Quién
Surely, with the death of the
fourth part of the population, in verses 7 and 8, the hunger
and scarcity of verses 5 and 6, the global war of verses 3
and 4, there will be a greater awareness of why the Earth is
in this condition. All these events are happening
in a period of less than three and a half years on Earth. They
are part of the first half of the last week of Daniel, the
Great Tribulation, And it is even the opening of the sixth
seal that openly comes to recognize the lamb. This great day of the day of
God is the point where all the prophecies of the Old Testament
converge. Everything that the prophets
said, hundreds of years, everything they were saying about the day
of the Lord, all this begins to come together here, all this
time begins to be fulfilled here. It is described in many passages
as the time in which the Lord will put an impressive pressure
on his enemies on earth. Look at Isaiah, let's see the
description of the Lord's Day in Isaiah 3, from 16 to 24. God is fearful. and there is no one who can stand
before him unless he has redeemed him by the blood of his son Jesus
Christ.
Here the day of Jehovah comes,
terrible and of indignation and ardor of anger, to turn the earth
into solitude and take from it, who? His sinners. Therefore the
stars of the heavens and their lights will not give their light,
and the sun will darken at birth, and the moon will not give its
y a tiempo largo. Mucho de esto que yo le hice,
cumplió con Israel. Así como dice, así Dios hizo
con ellos. But a lot of this is pointing to the great day,
to the great day of Jehovah, the great day of the Lord, the
great day of the wrath of the Lord, the wrath of the Lamb that
we are seeing in the description of John. Jeremiah 37, there close,
the next book after Isaiah is Jeremiah. Jeremiah 37, 30 verses
7. Oh, how great is that day, so
great that there is no other like it. A time of anguish for
Jacob, but he will be delivered from it. A time of anguish for
Jacob. Who is Jacob? It is Israel. And who will be
delivered in the time of the great tribulation? It is Israel,
the people of God. The most underpriced people on
earth. For men, but not for God. Ezekiel,
the whole chapter 38 and the whole chapter 39. Let's go there. Let's read the whole chapter.
I don't think we have enough time, but let's read chapter
38, verses 18 to 23. In that time, when Gog came against
the land of Israel, the Lord Jehovah said, My wrath and my
anger will rise, because I have spoken in my zeal and in the
fire of my wrath, that in that time there will be great tremors
over the land of Israel, that the fish of the sea, the birds
of the sky, the beasts of the field, and every snake that crawls
upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the
that they will know who the lamb is. They will prostrate themselves,
as Paul describes it in the book of Philippians, they will bend
their knees and confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, the
owner, and even so, they will go to hell, because they perished
without having confessed it in life. And that's the horrible
thing, because they will know all the truth, and for eternity
they will know that for their sin they will be there, without
end, in their suffering. That's what happens in the Great
Tribulation. Look at the book of Amos. It
goes a little further there. It goes to Daniel, Oseas, Joel,
Amos. After Joel comes Amos, chapter
5, verses 18 to 19. I know you read a lot of the
Bible, so finding these little books is easy. Some minor prophets.
Psalm 5, 18, 19. There are those who desire the day of Jehovah.
What do you want this day of Jehovah for? It will be of darkness
and not of light. Like the one who flees from the lion and meets
the bear. Or as if he enters the house and puts his hand on
the wall and a snake bites him. This is the day of the Lord.
oso. No hay salida. La humanidad no
tiene salida de esta. Sofonías 1, 14 al 18. Avance allí donde está. Cerca
de allí. Siga avanzando. Va a encontrar Sofonías. Es otro
de los profetas menores. Capítulo 1, versos 14 al 18. Cercano está el día grande de
Jehová. said, cannot be more proximal
is a mark on the walls than the idea of a great idea money and
the idea that he had the idea that was the idea that the ability

U.S. community at the end of the other thing that is meaningful

not be an assembly's young that I'm Aquí está el porqué.
That is the great
day of Jehovah. The great day of Jehovah is described
not as a day of 24 hours, it is talking about a period of
time that we know as the great tribulation, like 7 years, like
the last week of Daniel, of the 70 weeks that Daniel predicts
in the book of Daniel. And the Lord will be afflicting.
It is a period of affliction, of terror, of suffering. will
only increase until the judgment is completed with the coming
of Christ in chapter 19 of Revelation, where he will come to kill his
enemies and establish his millennial reign on earth, restoring Israel
as the nation that will rule all nations on earth. And together
with his redeemed, he will be ruling the earth, sitting on
the throne of David. All this is the day of the Lord.
It is not an event, but a period where the Lord's intervention
on humanity is severe and is recognized by all. But what John
writes in the sixth seal is only the beginning of birth pains. It is nothing more than the beginning
of the end of times. It is only an anticipation of
what will be unleashed from the Lord on earth with the opening
of the next seal that we start the coming week, which is the
seventh seal. And the part at the end of chapter 6 says,
El Sexto Sello
Series Apocalipsis_editado_radio
