Genesis 28:18-22 - Responding to Revelation with Worship

Jacob responded to the revelation of God with worship. But one of the aspects of worship was a direct vow to give back to God a tenth of whatever God gave him.

Is the tithe a New Testament concept? That's a reasonable question, and the short answer is that NT saints are expected to give everything they are and everything they have back to God.

This can be a challenge for us who are mostly unbelievably wealthy when it comes to most Christians throughout the world and throughout history.

Are you robbing God? Or are you loving Him with your wealth as well as with immaterial aspects of your life?
