Living Out the Faith

David declares his confession of his trust in God, then describes how he was attacked by enemies and thus his confession was tested. But he comes through the test stronger than ever and exhorts the people to trust in God also, reminding them of the brevity of our lives and the need not to place our hopes in the things of this world. Our ultimate salvation is supremely seen in the Rock that God sent, his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Savior in time and eternity.
