My Sovereign God

My Sovereign God...

He's Sovereign in Mercy and Judgment.

In our Nesting with Jesus readings through Kings' we see again and again that God is sovereign in His mercy and His judgement. He does what He wants, when He wants, however He wants, with whoever He wants. If we're not careful, we'll let a world around us or the atmosphere of a nation dictate and manipulate our thoughts of who God is... and neglect the best two sources He's ever given to reveal Himself to us. What are they? Himself and His word... as He told the people in Micah's day, "does not my words do good to them who walk uprightly?" God speaks... but it only profits those who believe that He is God and rewards those that diligently seek Him for everything in life.
