The Seventh Commandment

We love the neighbor for God's sake not only in his person and possessions, but also in his marriage. This love must come from the heart. We must keep our flesh out of it, as so often it lusts and desires that which is not ours. Marriage is a picture of Christ and His church. It is an institution that stands as the foundation of God's Church. When we consider it from this perspective it places even more emphasis on how we look at our neighbor and his marriage - giving him respect in this area of life also!
