He Promises — He’s Given

He Promises — He's Given

Distinguishing the giving and the gifting of the Spirit — promised by God, through Joel, and affirmed by God, through Peter. The gifting, within the body of Christ, couldn't happen without the GIVING OF THE SPIRIT. And we must distinguish the difference between the promised giving and the purposeful gifting.

The giving of the Spirit changes everything — in every new creature. The Spirit changes who we trust and treasure, how we think, the way we talk, and why we teach. Why? Through the justifying work of Jesus and the giving of His Spirit, through, by, and for His grace, He adds an eternal value, to our trust, thoughts, tongue, and trustworthiness. He, through His grace and by His Spirit, enriches our communication with His eternal life, because He enriches our comprehension with His eternal truth when He enriches our commitment with His eternal trustworthiness. And because He is able, and He now lives within each of His disciples, He intimately and intentionally transforms our abilities through His presence and Spirit.

1. Our ABILITY To Communicate (His eternal truth to help others…) "He enriches us with His utterance!"

2. Our ABILITY To Comprehend (His eternal thoughts to know Him and help others make Him known…) "He enriches us with His understanding!"

  1. Our ABILITY to Commit (His eternal trustworthiness and faithfulness that we lack nothing needful to edify and equip each other in His service unto the end...) "He enriches us that we come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end…"

  2. Our ABILITY to Connect…

He enriches us… that are exclusively His, glory be!
