Current events update. We begin with Israel at war. Today's date, 8-18-24. Day number 317 by the reckoning of websites I check with. They've got everybody's hopes up. The U.S., Qatar, and Egypt unveiled an updated ceasefire proposal in a joint statement with an aim to finalize the deal next week. I personally believe it is baloney, regardless of how you spell it. I think that this is all hype, but the Israel government is playing along, and the PM says Israeli negotiators voicing cautious optimism about hostage deals. So, you know, we'll see. As I say, so who knows? In the meantime, Islamists live in a dark age of their own making. Folks, this is where we're heading. following the terrible policies of the environmentalists, and we don't go into all that, but the Green New Deal and all that's going to end up turning us into like Mexico, where you have rolling brownouts and all that kind of thing. And in Lebanon last night, north of Israel, that's what it looked like, and there was It says here, the supply of electricity to the national grid was stopped all over Lebanon, including to the airport, the port of Beirut, the water pumps, et cetera, due to a lack of fuel. So that might be also a sign of things to come. The Hezbollah continues to attack northern Israel, and Israel is not going to put up with it. And we wouldn't either. So we'll see, in the meantime, we stand with Israel. We remind you, Israel is God's time piece. The Bible says that the nation of Israel will be in place whenever the rapture, the great tribulation and the second coming happens. It also is a indicator of the Gog Magog conflict of Ezekiel 38 and 39. And we've talked about that in the past. Number two, Kamala Harris. Some people want to say that you are a racist or sexist if you don't support Kamala. We say it all the time, if Kamala would change her policies and not be for killing babies, and not be for Sodom and Gomorrah, and not be for gun control, and not be for Marxism, we wouldn't have anything to say about it. But she's all of those things, and those things aren't political, they're moral. And that's why she's being called a communist with a K. Now, if I were to offend anyone with this info, I can only say, oh, well. If this Kamala or Kamila is elected, it may be the end of America as we know it. Speak now or forever be silenced. You can vote your way into socialism. You can never vote your way out. You have to fight your way out. Just look at Venezuela as one example. They're coming up with these kind of memes around the internet. But it's not just the internet. This is some of the news reporting. Communism, spelled with a K. And she unveiled a budget-breaking $1.7 trillion economic plan that includes government price controls. Now, I'm going to tell you this. I don't blame her. She's a puppet. But the people who control her are communists. And she is a proxy communist. She doesn't really even probably know what it means, but she is being used by the communists. Somebody made this, where she says, I want equity. Now, we believe in equality, not equity. Equity demands the same end result, which is communism. Everybody's poor, an elite class rules over you, and that's equity. We don't want that. We want equality. But she says in this meme, I want equity. And he says, be honest. I want equal outcomes. Be honest. I want communism. Thank you. That's what they want. And that's behind all that. Now these aren't just jokes. This is very real. It's simply Marxism. And only those who are ignorant of Marxism would have any problem with anybody standing against Marxism. It's Satanism. It is the end of your life as you know it. You will be a slave if this takes over. I will snatch their patent. So that we will take over. And yes, we can do that. Yes, yes, we can do that. Yes, we can do that. The question is, do you have the will to do it? I have the will to do it. Socialism, Marxism comes in and takes over everything. Your freedom is gone. Your freedom to create, to develop, free trade is dead. And that's what she is preaching. And she's been preaching it since her first attempt to become president four years ago. She preached it then. But back then, she couldn't even get 1% of the vote. Now look at what's happening, because now she's got the Democrat Party operative news media behind her, propagandizing everybody. That's what's going on. I will work to pass the first ever federal ban on price gauging on food. We've seen this kind of thing tried in lots of other countries before. Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union, etc. It leads to shortages. It leads to black markets. Essentially what we're talking about is a gargantuan big government that controls everything. What we're talking about is a war on capitalism. It's not going to be markets, it's not going to be supply and demand that's determining how much your grocery store charges you for milk or for eggs. It's going to be some bureaucrat in D.C. which seems like totally unworkable. It's always, always about control. They want to control. They want to be able to pick winners and losers and also be able to punish those losers That's what it is all about. Start opening your eyes and your ears to it. It's the end of the America that you know. And this is the answer. The answer to socialists. Milton Friedman said this in 1979 when we were falling into Marxism under Jimmy Carter. but he was on Donahue in 1979 said this. You see around the globe the maldistribution of wealth, the desperate plight of millions of people in underdeveloped countries. When you see so few haves and so many have-nots, when you see the greed and the concentration of power with it, don't, aren't you ever, did you ever have a moment of doubt about capitalism? And whether greed's a good idea to run on? Well, first of all, tell me, is there some society you know that doesn't run on greed? You think Russia doesn't run on greed? You think China doesn't run on greed? What is greed? Of course, none of us are greedy. It's only the other fellow who's greedy. The world runs on individuals pursuing their separatists. The great achievements of civilization have not come from government bureaus. Einstein didn't construct his theory under order from a bureaucrat. Henry Ford didn't revolutionize the automobile industry that way. In the only cases in which the masses have escaped from the kind of grinding poverty you're talking about, the only cases in recorded history where they have had capitalism and largely free trade, if you want to know where the masses are worse off, it's exactly from the kinds of societies that depart from that. So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear, that there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by a free enterprise system. But it seems to reward not virtue as much as ability to manipulate the system. And what does reward virtue? You think the communist commissar rewards virtue? You think a Hitler rewards virtue? You think, excuse me, if you'll pardon me, do you think American presidents reward virtue? Do they choose their appointees on the basis of the virtue of the people appointed or on the basis of their political clout? Is it really true that political self-interest is nobler somehow than economic self-interest? You know, I think you're taking a lot of things for granted. And just tell me where in the world you find these angels who are going to organize society for us? Well, I don't even trust you to do that. Listen, capitalism is not perfect. The question is, what's the best system man has? And all you have to do is pick up a history book to find out what socialism means. It means death to millions every time it's tried. Oh, it just hasn't been tried right. It hasn't been tried the right way. That's like saying strychnine just hasn't been taken the right way. If you do it the right way, it won't kill you or make you sick. It'll help you if it's taken the right way. Well, right now, what we've got is, in America, strict nine in small doses right now. We're already under socialism to an extent. But these people running right now in the Democrat Party, the Green Party, the Socialist Party, and a bunch of independents, they're all trying to destroy what's left of the capitalist system. And by the way, the Bible is a capitalist book in this dispensation. Now, the next one you'll get a dictator, his name's Jesus. He'll do everything perfect. That's the only tyrant dictator you want over you. And he's only a tyrant to the wicked. The rest of us, he's a blessing. Amen? But before Jesus returns, there's only one type of government in human history that put you where you are right now. And I don't care, we could take the poorest person in this room and ask that person who the poorest person they know is, and that person is better off than 95% of the human population today or that has ever existed. And the Bible, they'll pervert the Bible and twist the Bible. We've talked about it in the book of Acts. There's places where they try to teach Marxism and it's not teaching that at all. They have to pervert the Bible to get that out of the Bible. By the way, In our previous current events update, which was Wednesday night, I asked what word of the week, what the word of the week was for the Mockingbird News Media, Mockingbird Press. Our news media is under the control of the CIA, who is also in bed with corporate interests, including Big Pharma. Now, these news people you see aren't smart. They're good readers. And some of them aren't real good at that either. But that's what they do for a living. And they're told what to say. That's why we showed on video Wednesday night, they all got their marching orders, that it was about momentum. And one newscast, we showed you momentum, momentum, momentum. Well, Jim and a couple others pointed out that they had noticed the word joy. Now I don't have the video on that, I got a screenshot. And all the headlines about the Kamala campaign was joy. The New York Times, Harris used to worry about laughing, now joy is fueling her campaign. Vanity Fair, sweet emotion. How the Harris-Walsh ticket wields joy against Donald Trump. Salon Magazine, bringing back the joy. Kamala Harris rally blows away J.D. Vance's weird appearance across town. One headline after another. Those are supposed to be news. And not only are they in bed with the Democrat leftist party right now, But they're all under the same marching orders, repeating the same word over and over. Joy, Washington Post. Joyful, Rolling Stone. Joy, Vanity Fair. Joy, keep going, Associated Press. Joy, The New York Times. Joyful, CBS. Joy, NPR. Joy, The Guardian. Joy, I could go on and on. Listen, if that, I'm not a, just for, we have a couple of visitors here, so I want to make sure you understand. I'm not a Republican. But I'm against Satanism. And I'm against the control of our media. We need a free press, and if you don't get your free press back, you can kiss your churches and your own freedoms goodbye. That's what I'm against. Because they know the riots are coming. Doesn't sound like there's much joy going on. They got the joy, joy, joy, joy. No, they don't. Somebody made this and said, wait, what? I thought the Harris-Waltz ticket brought a joyful vibe. I'm sure any protest will be mostly peaceful. Yeah, they'll be burning Chicago down unless they bring in like they did in 1968. Some of you are old enough to remember that. I watched the movie. They came in with riot police, water cannons to shut it down. When's that start? Next week, isn't it? It'll be interesting. Or is it? When is it? This week. Yes, this week. Tomorrow, yeah. 9 through 13, I think. Or no, 9 through, where are we at? Today's? 18. So 19 through 23, I think. I had the 9 and the 3 right. Aren't you impressed? And finally. A current events update regarding the other guy running, Donald Trump. Now you need to pray for that man. I'm not talking about even regarding politics, but he is a lost soul in need of salvation. And again this week, what he preached when he was asked about his belief in God in heaven was anti-Christian. Complete opposite of our gospel. I want you to see this. But religion, it gives you some hope. Gee, if I'm good, I'm going to heaven. Do you believe in heaven? I do. If I'm good, I'm going to heaven. And if I'm bad, I'm going to someplace else, like over there, right? But it gives you this something that is so good for a country. We lost a lot. When you pray, what do you pray for? Well, I pray for our country. I pray, obviously, I pray for the same thing you pray. Our family and our country. We have a family. We have a country. And I guess we have a world. I pray for the world. Listen, I'm telling you, the majority of conservatives in this country are going to hell. That's the reality. Yes, that's exactly right. Now, he's Episcopalian, I think, but it's an apostate Episcopalian. And these so-called conservatives, I don't think I've talked about this for a while, but I used to go to Christian coalition meetings. I stopped going because they told me to stop proselytizing. There were Mormons and other unsaved people there, and I would preach the gospel to them, and they told me I couldn't do that. Out of there. You tell me I can't tell someone how to be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, I'm out of there. You know where else that happened? AA meetings. You know where else that happened? The Masonic Lodge. Out, you're not allowed to preach Jesus. You can talk about a Jesus, but not the only way to salvation. You say he's the only way to heaven, you're out. And what, you know, Donald Trump said, if you're good, you go to heaven, you'll go to hell just as quick as Hitler. Why? Because there's none good. No, not one. Isn't that Romans 3, 10 to 12? Isn't that what Jesus said? Why you call me good? There's none good but God. Don't call Jesus good unless you're calling him God. He is God, so we can call him good. Amen? But everybody in this room, you may be good in comparison to other human beings, but every one of you, including me, are wicked sinners who should be in hell right now. You're not going to get to heaven by being good. You're only going to get to heaven because Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood and paid for your wickedness and your sins. And then you repent toward God with faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. You'll go to heaven. Now, Be good, not to be saved, but because you are saved. That's the message, Titus 3, 4 to 6, but after that, the kindness and love of God, our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness. which we have done. But according to His mercy, He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. And then the well-known Ephesians 2, 8 and 9. For by grace are you saved through faith. And that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. What? Not of works, lest any man should boast. Now the next verse goes on to say, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. But that's, if you think you're going to go to heaven because you're good, you got the cart before the horse. You can be good when you're saved because of the Spirit of God and the Word of God in you, and you follow His Word, you can do good works then. Before that, even what you call good works, they're done for selfish motives, they're done with ulterior motives, they're not good. All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags before you start doing them in the power of His Spirit. So, pray for all of these lost politicians. Probably 99% of the politicians you and I know are lost. And they think they're doing good even when they're fighting for abortion and fighting for Sodom and Gomorrah. They think they're doing good. So then you ask them, yeah, I think I'm a good person. I think I'll go to heaven. That's what the answers you get. It's an amazing thing. So be informed and pray accordingly. Anyone want to comment or ask a question before we move on? Yes, Jenny? One of the reasons I brought that up is because I keep hearing people, no one here that I know of, but I've heard other people who are Christians claim they think he's saved. And I'm like, I would love for him to be, but he's not. Not if that's what he's believing, that's what he's trusting for salvation, he's not saved. Yeah. And him and his wife and his children and all of them, you know, pray for him. As far as I know, none of them give a profession of faith. And as far as Vance, J.D. Vance, he converted from atheism to the Catholic faith. In my book, he went from bad to worse. His wife is an unsaved Hindu, I believe, Usha. Lovely people who need saved. Amen.
