Shipwreck Security

70 ( 44 | 26 )

In Acts 27 The Apostle Paul is a prisoner on a ship being taken to Rome to appear before Caesar.

Luke is also on the ship with Paul and Luke writes a first-hand account of a storm that they encountered on their voyage that lasted 2 weeks.

I don't know about you but if I was on a small wooden ship battling a storm for two weeks then I think I'd be pretty tired and traumatized.

Well as you see Paul in this passage, rather than being traumatised, Paul was triumphant, even in the midst of a shipwreck.

Here in Acts 27 Paul the Captive becomes Paul the Captain giving directions to all on board.

Paul could cope with every shipwreck in his life because Paul had security in every storm.

In every storm Paul encountered he had a solid foundation, Paul was anchored upon the rock, the Lord Jesus Christ!
