me some reason drop with one
of the spiritual so important a man that your best in the carnal
destined for what what else anybody else have anything I ever heard
that the spiritual It affects, the spiritual affects
all of your life, including your physical, including your emotional,
amen? Including your mental, so it
does. Anything else anybody wants to
add? Your spiritual is kind of open for them, so. so it's so that spiritual is
with the more so because it's a nation with god back into the
most of the relationsh that we are the children of God,
right? So that's important. So that's
what we're gonna primarily talk about. But I will say this, when
you're the child of God, and you're connected spiritually,
God has the invitation from us, because we've invited him into
our hearts, to work on all other areas of our lives. So we have
the privilege to come to God the Father, whether it be a physical
need, whether it be an emotional need, whether it be a relationship
issue, financial, whatever it is, we can go to the Father and
bring anything that bothers or troubles or stresses or discourages
us, we can bring before the Father. When we feel like everything
is good with us, we can bring other people that are near and
dear to us, we can bring them before the Father. , so we'll
talk about, of all somebody look at one night in the mid-nineteen
nineties with 1990 and will be redacted by the year that last for the son
of man is home to one C and to say that which is one that so
Jesus mission was to, in the same man day when he calls Adam and Eve
tempted them and they sinned sin came in separated death came
into humanity if they had not sinned Adam and Eve would be
alive talking today there would be no disease there would be
no issue but because of that so the devil came in but what
the devil stole Christ gives back the separation between God
the Father and That happened in the garden. Jesus Christ came
to bridge the gap. He came to reconcile. Okay, what's
the second one, John? Yes. , so Jesus Christ a in the ministry of reckoning of the in a way that was able to see
personally say in Jesus even say you touch me in the year
of hope you don't believe If you, what we're talking about
is, we're talking about that ministry and what our part is
to not end that. Because we have a part to play
in people being saved. And that's maybe a little stretch,
but I think that we have to take apart, if there's failure of
that, if that's not happening, I think we have to examine and
say, why is that? Why are people not being saved? We'll say, well, it's their choice.
But are we doing everything that we should be doing to let people
know that God loves them? that he loved him so much he
sent Jesus Christ are we doing what we and so we're going what
behind the scenes one of the most powerful things that we
can do to bring people in a right relationship with Jesus that's
your sons your daughters your grandchildren your neighbors
your husband your wife you know whoever it is so go ahead and
read that Miss Jan's got that first one second Corinthians
four three four and five and guess what Jesus is a lot
and guess who else is the one we are working on right where
we are working on our brain to look at notice this in the best
one was in the The devil does not want, when
it says, that one he's describing is the devil. He's the prince
of the power of the air. He does not want people to know
that there's forgiveness, salvation, redemption, cleansing, eternal
life, hope, joy, the fruits of the spirit. He doesn't want people
to know that. Let me tell you what the devil
wants. He wants people to be down, and he wants to keep them
down. He wants people to be defeated. He wants people to remain defeated.
But we serve a victorious Savior. We serve a God who won the victory
2,000 years ago for us to walk in today. and for us to believe
in my man, so what do we do we pray against the enemy and his
influence to blind the malls and keep them ignorant of god's
right to restart you know what we do we start playing against
the Lord open their eyes I mean, I remember tremendous
negative influence. I worked at a place called America
Rollinberry. And I mean, it was bad. It was
not good. It was not a good atmosphere.
So we've got to pray against those things. And people that
are under negative influences, they could be a best friend.
, but that will use different things you use me as social media
and use different things on the Internet to keep people alive
in the that's that's part of our people
are being we need, it don't matter how many, for some of the world,
not as far as you can not do it on your own not create a , now the writers of my surmise,
that will be back in a day of the way we get in the book of
a one a day, some of you know that the outline he says here
were a lot of people who are more than one and I'm gonna give you something
that'll bless you that I found out that'll help you in your
being positive about the situation whatever negative situation we
face is you start praying and it's not natural but it works
you start praying and you start focusing on somebody else's need
and I'm gonna tell you what that does that takes your focus off
of yours because this is what the devil does with our needs
the devil magnifies the need or distress or the issue, he
magnifies that so it might be bigger, we might see it bigger
than God. God is bigger than any situation. Bigger than any,
amen, do y'all agree with that? He's bigger than any situation.
But one thing that'll help, and God honors this, is when you
have an issue and you start saying, but Lord, I know there's somebody
worse off than I am. Would y'all agree that if we
look somewhere down the road, there's somebody worse than we
are? and when we move, and we start saying, Lord, I'm gonna
pray for them. I'm gonna tell you what'll happen. God'll start
answering your unselfish prayer, and he'll work on that end, and
he's gonna bring some blessings to you. But the focus is gonna
go off of you on somebody else, and it's gonna be like your load
will begin to be lessened because your focus is not on that issue. So what the devil does is he
tries to get us to focus on the issue, and it becomes a Goliath.
It becomes, and the more we look, the life grows. The life is six
foot tall on Monday, but Wednesday, he's 12 foot tall. And on Saturday,
he's 14 foot tall, and the next week, he's 20 foot tall. He grows.
So the more we focus on that, so the key is, and it's not natural,
and this is where we have to ask the Lord. We really have
to cry out and say, Lord, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find
out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find
out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll
find out, you'll find out, you'll find out, you'll find out Lord, help
me to realize as bad as my situation is, somebody is in worse situation. And let me start interceding
for them and see what happens. So anyway, go ahead with Joe. Very deceptive. , and he he's
the center of the site is a lot of the father of all, so what
is about one of our for somebody, whether it be the
issue in here, primarily on the spiritual, them being saved.
I'm a product, the reason I stand here today, I believe one of
the main reasons is my mom, y'all heard me say this before, my
mom would not give up praying for me. So we learned this in
lesson, not to rehash, but to remind us that persistent prayer
does speak to God. God, I'm not giving up. Lord,
I'm going to continue. Now, if God, again, the exception
to the rule, and we've talked about it before, is Paul. So
scripturally speaking, Paul said, Lord, get rid of it. Lord, get
rid of it. Lord, get rid of it. And God
said, my grace is sufficient. So what he told Paul is no. If
the Lord don't tell you no, no women you keep right you keep
right until and you be a persistent stubborn prayer warrior for God
amen you know what that tells God now what y'all say why is
it like that I'm gonna tell you what that tells God it tells
God that you're serious are y'all with me it tells God that you
mean business with him you're not praying a prayer and expecting
a McDonald's hamburger that comes out in two minutes Okay, brother
Dennis, yeah. Go ahead, brother. Bye. For sure, for sure. We do, and
we're, yeah, I think we're all guilty of that, Dennis. We do,
a lot. Okay, who's got that second Timothy right quick? Go ahead,
brother Dennis. And so what we're doing is we're
coming along, there's teaching, and there's teaching so that
people might see, and I put here, praying for God to open the eyes
of the blind, that they might see, so that they might repent,
so there might be repentance, so there might be reconciliation,
so that they go from being captive of the devil, as it says in that
scripture, captive of the devil, to where they're free in thoughts.
You know what Christ does? Christ being a servant and a
slave to Christ is freedom. Being a servant and a slave to
the devil is the opposite of that. You're captive. And notice that scripture, at
his will. You know what the devil, he pulls
your strings. I remember before I was saved,
he yanked my chain. I went over here, went over there,
I mean, he yanks. But when we come under, I call it new management,
and we come under Jesus Christ as we start doing we start obeying
him, start walking and all the live in the more that were with
him, will be like a man of the Who's got that? So, are we down
to number three? Yeah, okay. Somebody look at
Colossians 4, 2 through 4. We're going to have to move along
a little bit faster. Go ahead, Miss Paulette, you're
on the ball. . Notice the door so praying for
the doors of opportunity and that's what the possible at least
open up for you for more of the open up, where he's talking about
is proclaiming So you pray that God open a door. This is a good thing. One way
you know there's a door, you pray that that person comes to
you, that you have the opportunity, and somewhere in conversation,
they bring up a spiritual issue. I'll give you some examples. Church. Why did you join church? or should I go to church if they
have something biblical? Well, you know, why do people
get baptized? So anything, then you have a
spiritual conversation. Guess what that is? Ring, ring,
ring. That's a door of opportunity to go into, well, this is what
the Bible says. Now, all of us got an opinion,
all right? you know what you want to make
sure this is what the Bible says less look at what about this
is what he's in this one he's in this one, the father says,
one of the How do you give me an opportunity? Harris, you want to share anything
on that with an opportunity like it? Bring it to real force. I mean. So Miss Harris is a nurse. Some
of y'all don't know this, but go ahead, Miss Harris. Amen. of the of somebody read that, at 429
and will get that one to get them to have read about the government
and if he's a 619 of the people of all of you read, . Okay. Next one, Barbara. I wanna ask y'all. Do you find
it easy or hard to tell people about Jesus? Okay. Okay, I agree with that. Does
anybody, y'all just? So there's that first step, isn't
there? Okay, now most, I mean, you know, I'm going, well am
I gonna say the right, what kind of apprehension do we have? Give
me some apprehension, why do we, in the and that's just one more year
in a hurry. All this Ultimately, it's God's responsibility
to get the word in the heart. You can't do that. But you can
share. You can share scriptures. You
can share your testimony. Like Paul and the others, you
can testify. But as far as the Lord doing
the work, we can't do that. God's going to have to do the
work. But he does use us to, let's say, to prime the pump. Maybe that'd be the thing. Prime
the pump and get them thinking about things. and That's on, look on page 190,
got that, that's a good one, Barbara, I marked that, 190. It's the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5th, it's
a paragraph before, toward the end. Putting our insecurities
above another's need, for whom the truth is like saying, my
comfort level is more important to me than your salvation. so
are we, are we willing to let somebody because we're uncomfortable,
or well they might be mad at me, or they, are we willing to
put them out, or when the Lord may have strategically placed
us, and we may be that only one. And it's our responsibility.
Are we willing to put ourselves on the chopping block? Are we
willing to be uncomfortable about it? Because we want to speak
the truth and because we love them past our own self. And so it comes down to that.
That's a good one, Ms. Barbera. Somebody look at John
831, 32. Somebody, John 830. Melinda's
got that. John 831, 32. Romans 9, 3. You want that, Ms.
Chan? Romans 9, 3. OK, we'll read these
two. And Mr. Melinda, go ahead. 8,
31, 2. OK, and in Romans 9, 3. Now notice, and that's what Paul,
so what Ms. Belinda was reading is, you know,
the truth, so it's that freedom, the truth that we speak to them,
that truth that the Scripture, truth that we have, if we have
Jesus, the Bible says that Jesus, I am the way, the truth, and
the life. If you have Jesus and you have the truth living within
you through the Holy Spirit, we have the truth in God's Word
printed before us, but we share the truth, and that truth, guess
what, that truth has the ability to set them, not just us, but
set them free too. were out now when you get others,
, and he had such a desire for
other people to be saying, you know we wish they were five minutes
for a maybe wait for some of them were really concerned are
way , you know what I'm nowhere near what I ought
to be doing. Well, I did pray, and I think
in the book it says this too, one thing that you can do is
you pray that God would give you that desire for the lost.
Say, Lord, help me to see my co-workers as you see them. Help me see my neighbor as you
see them. in a way to see the soul of the
issue as you say that in the first one for one of our own
in a way, we've got a problem problems leaders of right , and
that's a good thing. Of course, the people were moved
by one of the Yeah, I think so. First Timothy
2, 4, I think that's a little bit. A couple places. so, and it goes well over the
U.S. and he said that all men should
be saying, not true and we need to pray for every
one not just those closest to us that we can do that. We need
to pray for those people. And that went down to the next
one, missionaries. We need to pray for missionaries as they
go out to spread the gospel. So we pray for other people.
We pray, you know, enlarge our territory. Lord, we want to influence
more, but we need to be praying for more. So one thing that we
do is when we do the shoebox, guess what? Those people, this
is one of the joys and rewards that's laid up in heaven. That
reward is, we don't see those children on this side. We don't
say the ones that open that gift that you put together, or that
you were a part of, and they open that gift, and they feel
love. And then somebody says and takes
them and says, you know why they gave that to you? Because of
Jesus. Because they received a gift
one day, and it was Jesus Christ. the one you see the one person and he got five, he can't be
that he was he was a rebel victim of the leader of the war, and
all of me, and in how many people that young boy,
and that was close to 40 years ago, I wonder how many people
he will touch his life. And because I spoke to him, I'm
going to get credit for all those other people that he's taken.
a man is, and when you're when you're restless
when you're restless when you see what does the Bible
say you'll do? You will find. Amen? Okay. Pray against the enemy and his
tactics, strongholds. When you're working a garden,
guess what you do? Take the rocks out. I hate it.
We have rocks everywhere. That's it. We got to get them
rocks out of there. And so guess what you do? There's barriers
that people have that the devil has. God, because that person
did that to me, if God loved me, he wouldn't let that happen.
That's a rock that needs to be removed. Okay? There's a wall
you tear. Lord, you tore down the walls
of Jericho, tear the walls down, okay? Pray for open doors, we
talked about that. Pray for the Holy Spirit conviction
and convincing. I didn't put that, but pray that
the Holy Spirit convict the heart and convince them of the need
they have for Jesus. If you have Jesus, you've got
everything. Okay? Now, is he going to give
it all to you at once? No, because you couldn't handle
it. We're going to get a glorified body, perfect home in heaven,
and until then, God is going to get us through whatever we've
got to go through. Okay? The disciples, leave you
with this, the disciples were in the boat, and Jesus is probably
not saved, Jesus was snoring, but he was asleep pretty good
and they were frantic and they came to Jesus and they said,
don't you care, we're grounded and of course they were all tore
up about it, but Jesus was just cool as a cucumber and this is
why, because he was over the sea and as long as Jesus was
in the boat, the boat weren't going down now as long as you're
in Jesus, the Bible says you're here in Christ Jesus is not going
back. He went down one time on the
cross to take our place, but never again. And because He don't
go down, you don't go down. Amen? you might be discouraged,
you might struggle, but ultimately you have the victory, and we
need to remind each other of that. When I get down, guess
what? I expect y'all to remind me of that. I'll never forget
my boy one time, he said, now Daddy, do you remember what you
preached? I said, yeah. Brother Joe, would you dismiss
us in prayer?
Praying for the lost.
