A Special Category of Widows

The Apostle Paul revealed to Timothy that there are qualifications for widows who deserve financial support in verses 3 - 8. In verses 9 & 10, he is still referring to widows, but this group is not widows who are to be considered for financial help but to determine if they are qualified to be put on the list of those who will minister in the local church.
