Dealing with Deceivers

In his final direct instruction to the church in Rome, Paul warns of the false teachers who will cause factions and hindrances (scandals) in their midst. He does not hold back in telling the church exactly how they ought to deal with these deceivers. Interestingly, Paul's instruction for the church in dealing with false teachers is a far cry from modern day tactics in interacting with the same.
