Sin and Judgment

Jude uses OT illustrations and an illustration from traditional Jewish writings of sin and judgment. Then in verses 8-10 Jude contrast the sinful behavior and the wickedness of his illustrations in verses 5-7 with those in their midst who have crept in. We looked at the text in two heads, sin and judgment from a place of favor. Sin and judgment from a place of wickedness. Finally we applied the text to the church today.
