Present Suffering, Glory to Come

21

Roman 8.18-27
Present Suffering and the Glory to Come

I consider that our present sufferings
are not worth comparing
with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Paul, how can you say this?

A. THERE'S HOPE FOR CREATION [Romans 8.19-22]

  1. Creation is presently suffering

  2. Creation is presently waiting and groaning

  3. Creation will be set free

B. THERE'S HOPE FOR CHIRSTIANS [Romans 8.23-25]

  1. Christians are presently suffering

  2. Christians are presently waiting and groaning

  3. Christians will be saved

C. THERE'S HELP FOR US [Romans 8.26-27]

  1. We are weak

  2. But He is strong
