There Are No Baby Sins

In this passage, James reminds us of the blessings given to believers who persevere through trials. Yet he also tamps down any sense that such trials are God's way of tempting the believer to sin. God does not tempt others to commit evil but temptations arise from within, from one's own desires that bait and hook us into sin and, in turn, into death.
