Our Vertical Covenant

The arresting account of the blood covenant contracted by two young men in Lebanon indicates just how seriously Near Easterners take this commitment. God's desire is that we live in a pleasing relationship of peace BOTH WITH HIMSELF AND OUR FELLOW MEN. In the first four of The Ten Commandments, God gives us the basic requirements for a peaceful relationship with Himself.
