Ordained to Bear Fruit

All true disciples of Christ are appointed to bear fruit for God's glory as they love and serve one another. But, when officers in the church are ordained and installed they are set apart, given authority, given the necessary gifts, empowered to do and commissioned to go and lead the congregation in this fruit bearing for the glory of God and the blessing of the Church.
