In the Beginning - Lesson 13 - The Coverings - Genesis 3:20-24. After the Curse for sin, God provides coverings for Adam and Eve, introducing atonement, as animals are sacrificed to provide their skins for clothing. Covering their guilt and shame was followed by their eviction from the garden and the placing of heavenly guardians to keep them from the tree of life. In the curse and even in death, however, we find grace and the forgiveness of sins.
